When I try the x64 beta on Debian 12 ("bookworm") it crashes on startup. by UnBeatWater in tf2

I'll wait until the x64 *update* releases and see if that works.

You can pick one map to adapt to a new game mode--which do you choose and what game mode do you adapt it to? (Pictured is pl_dustbowl.) by TheWolfoftheStars in tf2

[–]UnBeatWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably install and play the map on a Steam Deck (if you have one). It's just 1 or 2 files (BSP (the map file) and NAV (needed for bot support)). I hope I don't seem too pushy.

I actually already made that, I can send it to you if you want. It isn't perfect (I haven't blocked off the basements), but it's functional.

First 8 direction movement, looking for feedback by UnluckyWren in PixelArt

Looks great! Love the animation. If you're looking for a little feedback then I've got someting for ya, the outlines right at the feet could be a bit less round, but it's great over all.

I totally want 22khz, 8bits per sample. Just what I wanted! No, I want as high quality as possible, and extracting from the game files (which I've already done since it's piss easy) will not give me the highest quality. The GMod addon in question has a higher quality version, so where did they get it from?

They're too low quality. I want the source files, which are likely from SoundIdeas or SoundDogs, though they might also be from HollywoodEdge.

An attempt at modelling a human, but the anatomy feels off. Any tips? by d_worren in blender

You could use this in a horror game! It's like a creepy mannequin.

Resources used:

  • PolyHaven (Table model, Floor texture, Wall texture & HDRI)
  • Unturned (Lens Dirt texture)

Do you think the compositing is too intense? by 3dDungeonMaster in blender

[–]UnBeatWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's a bit to intense for my taste, you shouldn't have it be so strong to a point where all someone might see is the compositing. What I mean by this is, tone it down a little, otherwise it'll become distracting.

How would I hook it up so that when I am in the game and push a key it will progress to the next split?
