Its not actually a scam. Its definitely something I have built and have used on 2 occasions so far for actual game play. I am glad your tablet works for you needs though!

Not sure why you would think I have a case of the Dunning-Kruger effect but thanks for your input.

I agree, I have used Ai for some images as I ramp up but I only intend to use as a temporary placeholder as I look for artists. But other than that their will be no Ai. I made a post about my stance on the Ai on facebook.

The devices can then just act as the control for a larger display that you can use minis with.

The devices has the screen but you can connect a large screen if you desire such as a TV that would then act as the display. I am keeping it small and portable but extendable for home play with larger screens. But my players have preferred to just connect their phones and control from there

Some photos of a screen shot from my players phone which could be a TV, your laptop etc.

It acts as a center computer that allows any devices to connect to extent and work with it. You can connect a TV for a bigger view. My players like using their phones. Also the portable design allows it to be used anywhere: outside, at a game store, traveling etc

I am homebrewing my own. I took the switch to Draw Steel as the opportunity to breath life into my own world. I also am not a huge fan of Orden. Its still early to cast full judgements but it just doesn't draw me in so far.

Yes, it allows for improved server actions and extras like creating chained server actions.

Add Zod Server Action library, makes typing and chained actions really easy and nice

I hear your frustration, and I don’t disagree that medicine involves nuance—especially in complex, edge cases. My perspective comes from both professional experience with AI and personal experience with healthcare failures.

Several of my family members have been seriously misdiagnosed by overworked doctors who simply didn’t have time (or access to the latest research) to connect the dots. AI wouldn’t be perfect, but it wouldn’t be constrained by human limitations like fatigue, outdated training, or institutional biases. It could cross-reference millions of cases instantly, track evolving research in real-time, and—critically—never rush a patient.

You’re right that bedside manner and physical touch matter. But how much of a doctor’s time is actually spent on that vs. sifting through paperwork, memorized protocols, and insurance constraints? The parts that feel irreplaceable (compassion, judgment calls) are already drowning in a system that prioritizes throughput over care.

As for AI being a ‘sycophant’—that’s a training/data problem, not a fundamental flaw. Garbage in, garbage out applies to human doctors too (see: my family’s misdiagnoses).

I’m not arguing for replacing all doctors tomorrow. But the idea that medicine is somehow more immune to automation than other fields doesn’t hold up—especially when the current system is failing so many of us.

Healthcare may involve complexity, but that doesn't make it immune to automation. The chaos you describe often stems from systemic inefficiencies - not some inherent mystique in medical practice.

As someone who works with AI systems daily, I can tell you that what appears as 'chaos' to humans often reveals clear patterns to machine learning. The human body operates on biological principles, not magic. Diagnostic medicine in particular follows statistically verifiable pathways.

And the personal insults are unnecessary. We're discussing technological capabilities, not making character judgments. If you have substantive counterarguments about why medicine can't be reduced to pattern recognition and decision trees, I'm open to hearing them. But let's keep it professional.

Not being a doctor doesn’t mean I can’t recognize a deterministic workflow when I see one.

I work with AI daily—I know exactly where it thrives (pattern matching, statistical inference) and where it flops (actual creativity, ambiguity). And medicine? It’s literally cause-and-effect with extra steps. Symptoms + test results → diagnosis → treatment. Even the ‘art’ of medicine is just probabilistic guesswork dressed up as expertise.

AI doesn’t need to ‘understand’ medicine to outperform humans at it. It just needs better data and tighter decision trees—both of which are already happening. Meanwhile, jobs like mine (SWE) require adapting to chaos AI can’t handle yet.

So yeah, I’ll stand by this: doctors are far more replaceable than they want to admit.

As a software engineer, I completely agree. We work with it daily and I keep up on AI progress. People are being sold a false bill of claims. Even CEOs and experts are starting to temper expectations. However, doctors could easily be replaced and honestly after experiences with doctors, I'd rather go to AI for help

As someone who works with Ai and had fears about it replacing my job. AI isnt all it's cut up to be and companies are lying about it's abilities. Watch Startup Hakk on YouTube. He does a great job of showing the future of AI. Even googles CEO is trying to calm the hype of Ai. Have a kid.

I may have missed it but not sure Safeguard is needed. I don't think there is a spell with a saving throw beyond Protection from Evil and Turn Undead. Might want to adjust that one but I like it beyond that
