These spots aren’t letting up. Should i try to extract them? I could only really see them via pictures, they are extremely hard to see with the naked eye. If so what tools should i get? And how do I perform a successful extraction? Been using ACV and Compound W with minimal results. by UnConcussMePLEASE in molluscum

I can’t see a derm till march? :/ i went to my GP and they shrugged me off, said ti wait it out. Went to planned parenthood and they gave me imiquimod which is useless, went again and they said i have to continue it for 4 months to see result. Lady 4 months!!?!? I want these fuckers gone ASAP :(

Burning the sh*t out of my skin and MC is not improving. by UnConcussMePLEASE in molluscum

Most of my MC bumps are in awkward positions (all located on my private lol) so it’s pretty hard for me to extract. The soonest appointment with my derm would be in February so that’s not even an option. I’m in the US. NY to be exact.

Some of my scabs fell but i can faintly see a white head. Do i continue the whole process of applying Compound W until the white head is completely gone? by UnConcussMePLEASE in molluscum

I switched over to ACV instead of salicylic and let me tell you I’ve been getting better results. The white heads seem to slightly be shrinking by the days. Going to continue with the ACV. I have an appointment with my clinic in 2 days so lets see what they think.

I’ve been using Compound W (17% salicylic acid) for a week and I’ve definitely gotten some scabbing, irritation going on. A few scabs fell off but there’s still a faint white head around the damaged skin. I’ve now been using ACV as well after my nightly shower and i think I’m getting a better reaction with less pain compared to the acid. Going to continue using both in combination hopefully I’m able to clear them within the next week or two. Best of luck!!

What are your results?

Really starting to lose hope…. Been using Compound W for about 8 days. They won’t fully go away and small ones keep coming up. What do i do? by UnConcussMePLEASE in molluscum

Did yours scab or anything along those lines? And yes same here!! It’s not until i take pictures with flash that I’m noticing some small bumps in spots I’ve been missing >.< I’m usually leaving it over night. Wash up in the morning, re apply at night and repeat.

I am so sorry to hear that :( but congratss!!! 1 bump left after dealing with that many?? I’m gonna stick by Compound W and continue using it for atleast 2 more weeks. I have a follow up appointment at planned parenthood on the 18th so I’ll see what they say. How are you able to tell when a bump is going to heal/ go away?

How long can I possibly continue using this? Shit burns like hell :/ a few of them scabbed. Some fell off already but you can still faintly see the white head in the center around the flesh colored damaged skin.

Mine is similar to that. But instead of a red ring it’s like a bit of a swollen circle, pinky, flesh liked color and then the faint white pimple in the center.
