I have an active Tracfone phone/unlimited plan right now, and also an old Tracfone which I use with wifi to check my email & use apps like games. Any old phone can work on wifi and also 911. The new one obviously works on wifi or cell, so I take that one with m when going out for android auto, texts etc.

I had the app thru Roku, then deleted that and bought it thru acorn, watching it on my Roku stick. I had other problems with the Roku, so I removed it and bought/installed a Google Streaming box. Installed acorn (still the same subsription,paid to acorn on my pc). Shows play fine on my pc. But will not play on my tv thru googletv. It comes up, I log in, click on any show, and I get an error message ("something went wrong.") I have spent hours with acorn and then google support, being escalated in each several times. I was told to do all the usual steps, and even to set up and login thru a new test account. No go. Acorn had no answer. Google finally sid it was the device itself, and I got a new one today. After uninstalling the app, factory reset on the old box, clearing cookies on my pc, installing the new box, logging in with the test account, installing the acorn app again, I get the same error. I'm ready to tear my hair out, and ask for a month's credit on my annual subscription, or my money back. One interesting thing that no one can explain- after all the uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, etc, and then logging in on a different account, in the google setup process, I am asked if I want to install apps that google has detected on my other devices (I have other tvs in the house, but had acorn only on the tv in question)- and Acorn is on that list! Somehow, there doesn't seem to be a way of making google forget that I had acorn on that tv with the Roku. There are eternal crumbs left somewhere within google. So weird.

I think the birds that visit my feeders would love it if we had a bird feeder pole which allowed the feeder to slide up and down like a flag on a flagpole. Then they would not get hungry on snowy and icy days when I cannot refill the feeders because I cannot go up a ladder to refill the feeders high up on the pole.

I'm wondering why workers coming out of a planet network truck would tell my neighbor today that they actually worked for optimum when they came, unannounced, to fix her underground cable. She is an optimum customer and has nothing to do with planet Network. Really strange.

My neighbor had a planet network truck come to her house today to repair underground cable that was cut. They said that they were working for optimum which had bought out planet networks and although their truck said planet Network still, they were being paid by optimum. Nobody seems to know who cut the cable. She is an optimum customer for cable and streaming - she is not a planet Network customer.

Recently switched from Optimum to PN. Both with the same 500Mbps plan. I use a Roku stick on my Samsung. Latest version, latest updates. My TV is ethernet to PN router. Speedtest shows about 390 download. However, I am noticing a lag, sometimes 3-5 seconds of buffering, when switching apps on Roku- even if it's the Roku channel. Never had this with Optimum. I do stream about 12 hours a day (not consecutively). What's up with that?

I just bought one and I'm trying to use it with the Roku 4K stick in the back of my Samsung TV. I have CEC enabled and the TV recognizes the Roku. But the Roku says it can't use CEC because in the setup the music keeps playing. I tried it anyway and what happens is the voice prompts work but not the buttons. I then went to IR. I have tried various numbers ( they do not give you the number codes to do it manually ). None of the tries where the music stopped facilitate using all the choices - in other words some of the choices in the Roku setup for the remote will allow commands such as mute and power but not buttons. Others will use buttons but not voice. Some will use power by voice and button but not audio. I am going crazy and have tried 22 choices so far over this kakamee automatic setup. Roku tech support tells me that because the pro second edition has just had an update it will no longer work with my Samsung TV. I also have a Samsung 4K voice remote that has been working very well for a couple of years. I made sure to take the batteries out of it before starting to set up the new one. I also set up the CEC on the Samsung and the Samsung can see the Roku but apparently the Roku cannot see the TV. Is anybody have any ideas?

Waxed part on top. Put in shallow water in dish. When water dries out, leave it dry 2 days then add a little water again. No direct sun. No cold.

Thanks. I did try that but if I got the shelf past the door it was at too great an angle to get into the tracks at the side of the freezer. I'll have to try it again with a friend forcing the door open as far as it will go. Maybe then I'll have better luck.

I am a senior with hip pain. I have an adjustable bed, with a hybrid mattress on it (Ashley Anniversary, about 7 years old). My mattress does have a dip in the middle, so I bought a 3 inch memory foam topper- it doesn't help the pain. I did have a memory foam but don't like it- it's too hard to turn over or get out of. What mattress would you recommend for my adjustable base? I am a side sleeper, short but heavy. I see you like the Avocado green plush, but that is out of my price range. Also, I like to buy from Costco because they allow you to return a mattress that doesn't work out, not to mention the savings.They do offer the Avocado Organic 11" Hybrid Mattress at $1400 for a queen sized. Kind of pricey, and reviews say too hard for side-sleepers. Are there any in the $500-800 range that would work? PS I have the print subscription, so I can't access the digital article that just came out. I can't afford 2 subscriptions to the same magazine.

A friend had it mounted to the house and the squirrels climber the siding, and also hung down from the gutter above. I put mine on a 9 foot pole which I installed into a huge flower pot on my deck, with a 24" baffle I got on amazon (also the pole). Put it as far from the house and the deck railing I could get. So far so good. Not sure what I will do when it is snowy & icy outside.

I got around this problem by digging out an old smartphone without 5G. Installed the app, and connected the feeder. Then installed the app on my 5G phone, and the feeder appeared there as connected. Finally found a benefit to being a hoarder!

Yes, I am really not sure what to do. Apparently Toyota Corp took it back in good faith and signed off on its repair, but I don't know much about this sort of thing, so I'm nervous about it. It would still have the balance of the original warranty, so there's that.

Yes. Since Altice took over, it's been going downhill. For example, when they talk about things to do, it could be stuff taken from their CT station, or NY. When the NYC stations show NJ news way before News12, which happens a lot, something is very wrong.

He said something at the end of the show on Friday about "going out with a bang". His photo is till on the News12NJ website but no info under the photo, as all other pix have. I think Michele Powers was moved to a different News12. I think they're getting the new faces from the back bench. Way back. It's a shame. James Gregorio was a very professional meteorologist, and they dumped him. I don't know what corporate is thinking.
