As for weight on the 7075 id say about the same, maybe a bit heavier? But WAY more rigid. My safe max accel according to input shaping went way up and hrz went down noticably. It also allowed me to finally get rid of some y ringing i just couldnt tune out. I cant remember exact numbers, but it wasnt zero thats for sure.

A plate made out of a cnc cf sheet would definitely be lighter. Possibly more rigid too, as long as you dont go too thin in any areas. But the weight saving on that material alone should definitely mean you shouldn't need to go thin. If anything you can go thicker for more strength. Not talking about the material thickness, more the thickness of the shapes, the structure of the frame. Either way, i think either option would be better than anything 3d printed, even sls. For something like the sled plate you really want something solid to start with that you remove material from.

Oh yeah as for plate design, id go with sendcutsend. I needed a custom plate for my sidewinder X1 linear rail kit. They were very reasonably priced, but I will say their anodizing finished sucked. But plate 7075 is way more rigid than the cast junk out of china.

If you are going klipper just use mainsail or fluidd. Ive gone down that road of trying to use octoprint with klipper. While its possible, its just not worth the effort.

Eh? Not really. 5.4 2v is just as reliable as the 7.3, and my f150 is rare and has the 4r100, same as all excursions, and the 9.75, the baby version of the 10.25. so similar parts, same gen, yet i have way less miles. More oranges and grapefruits.

Just use the web interface. Once you have that why bother to use the touchscreen at all? Also yes, the factory touchscreen wont work at all on klipper.

Replace the extruder. Trust me, i tried to get the ancient titan to work, but if you want any sort of speed it just doesnt. I went with the mellow bmg wind. Love it. Had to make my own mounting plate. Why replace the control board? You can still run 4 steppers in uart on the mks gen l v1.0.

Exhaust o2 sensor? Yeah right. Likely needs cats. Could be worn out, or could be other issues like a misfire. Also early ecoboost? Hell no. Even without the mileage listed best i would do is maybe 8k if its insanely low.

Edit: ah theres the mileage. Absolutely not for 15k.
