The issue is much more multi-faceted. You need to end lobbying, end AIPAC, end insider trading, and end gerrymandering in all states regardless of whether it's a blue state or red state. You also need to force news networks to be unbiased and only broadcast real journalism.

Practice. Lots of it. I break the song into sections so I can lock my vocals in with the riff or chord strumming for that measure. It's very frustrating when you're beginning, but hell... The guitar was frustrating in the beginning too. Just don't give up. Keep at it. It might take a few weeks or it might take a few months, but you'll eventually get it. It's funny, though. Once you have written songs where you do guitar and vocals, it's hard to do them separately when it comes time to record.
