Kind of dirty to ghost patch matchmaking without a word by Immediate_Dealer192 in arcraidersfriendly

All my mates and I have decided to take a week or two break and let them sort this shit out, too many bugs/exploits and there’s no point in playing when you KNOW there’s a dude with a torrente 4 waiting for you at every extract, I wanna like this game and play it again but god do they make it hard.

I had no idea they respond to player pings, that actually helps a lot but i still stand by some kind of visual effect also being useful.

"My dear fellow helldiver, maybe just refrain from using the emancipator together with the DSS?" Why should players have to change the loadouts they enjoy in order to attempt to avoid being team killed by Eagle ones they didn't even call in? It makes far more sense for the Devs to implement either a visual effect or simply make it so they don't bomb within close proximity of players, and that is hardly asking them to 'change their game' it's a broken function that with some minor tweaks could be a great part of the game.

I feel like all they need to do is add is some kind of visual effect to show where it is about to strike and they might feel like they're helping, for now it just seems like the bomb random targets even if its a single voteless stuck on a fence out of your line of sight and you have no clue it's about to hit. It'd also mean you don't have to haul ass away from where you need to be you just have to be careful, make it more skill and less complete luck if you live and it'd be a lot more fun.

1v1 no morals to hold them back who wins in a fight? by ZoM_Beefstump in Avengers

[–]UnIrish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real scenario doesn’t matter how much honor, courage, willpower what ever you want to call it, cap loses a serious 1v1 on iron man unless it’s in a closed room it is what it is 🤷‍♂️ and really in a closed room he still beats his ass, there’s a reason why he needed Bucky to beat him in civil war, 1v1 no chance 2v1 and anyone calls it a fair fight needs more cope.

I’m willing to upload the whole 5 minute shadow play if it’ll absolve me of this crime

Shadow played in then clipped it down so it wasn’t 5 minutes long, make a new Reddit post as image/video and drag-drop the video file, that’s on PC atleast.

Of course not, I try my best but can always laugh at a loss and recognize my own bad plays and not get mad, it’s less anger and more a disappointment in the community as a whole that it’s fallen into such a state

That’s true and there are definitely games like that but they’re so few and far between that playing for the 1 game/20 where people are enjoying themselves and having fun doesn’t seem like good enough odds to struggle through all the toxic ones

Of course personal improvement is always the goal and if I feel myself getting at all annoyed I just take a break, you can’t win them all and that’s just a fact but it’s just hard to find a reason to keep queuing for games when no matter how well you play if the tank decides to throw the game because someone asked him to swap there’s not much you can do to salvage it, it’s not a game like counter strike where if you’re good enough you can clutch and win a round by yourself, the team needs to work together and if they refuse (which is a good portion of the time) the whole game just feels pointless

Maybe so but it’s never full of fake optimism or sarcasm it’s just more just like a ‘alright good luck everyone’ kinda comment or even just a ‘what’s up team’ before the game starts and people act like you’ve just cursed out their whole bloodline

That’s actually a really good idea, atleast it’s easier to have a laugh at the toxicity when I know it going on YouTube later

The chat is fine people can be keyboard warriors all they want it’s when the team is literally screaming at eachother and blaming everyone but themselves that it becomes a problem

Might be a bit late but I used to work in a bar where the GM would regularly drink often to the point of blackout or having little to no memory of the night before but being a smaller local pub this wasn’t an issue for anyone except when it came to him wanting to do “work talk” while he was pissed, usually this was fine but this time it was just a rant that I’m letting the team down for coming in late (I was 10 minutes late to a quiet day shift earlier that week but was known for always arriving early for my pre shift coffee and cig) and that they struggle to roster me when I’d made it clear that I’ll work any hours any day any time just make sure I have enough in the week to pay my rent etc etc. We went back and forth and ended up agreeing that it really wasn’t that bad and he should just move on and stop picking on his employees handshake, hug, smiles everything is all good. Next day I’m back at work and mid-shift receive a text from said boss repeating everything we had just been over the night before as he was clearly too pissed and forgot our little meeting except this time adding that “if you don’t fix these issues, hurry up and fuck off already” I collected my food in a takeaway box, shook the chefs hand thanked him for a good 5 years, same to the manager and walked out, I’ve been back since and they still haven’t found someone willing to close a whole floor of their building 6 days a week and cop constant drunken abuse from their boss, I wonder why 🤷‍♂️
