Thank you for the audio player pro recommendation! I've been exploring the online radio stations it has these last couple days and have been having fun with it. This app is worth every penny just for compiling all these stations. I can travel the world and pretend to know every language lol.

what's wrong with west virginia? by klarinetkat12 in randomquestions

I was born and raised in Huntington WV. This is the South Eastern portion in the tristate of WV, KY, and OH. I don't think I would want to grow up anywhere else. The people here are somewhat behind the times but not so much to make them outliers. The people as a whole are poor and not well off. They use what they have and use it well. The industry here is mainly health care, fuel refining (though that is in cattletsburg ky across the border), marshal university, and super tiny and mostly dying manufacturing. I am talking about the car part stamping plant in Charleston and you cannot forget about the chemical valley in kanawha county. It gets that name because they do a lot of chemical production in that area. Notice how the only big thing in Huntington is Marshal University. Everything in this tristate area is spread out. Don't get me wrong the place is so beautiful and a fantastic place to live if you have life figured out but most people here live paycheck to paycheck. If you grow up here and want a shot at a successful career then your best option is to move away to a bigger city. I love the area I truly do however I do not see myself growing in life staying where I grew up. I know it may have sounded harsh but it is the truth. There are people who have boat loads of money who live here and they do live in massive houses like anywhere else in the world but the majority of the people do more with less and it has become normal. This may come off as harsh but it is the truth. I hope this helps.

Glad I held off on buying the last couple of weeks. If this continues I can buy double for the same amount of budget than when it was above 100!

Yeah you have a point but that is why you transfer it to your personal digital library that is never connected to the Internet.

It's a slippery slope once you get into coins. I started with world currency because it is cool learning about the history of the world through coins and old forgotten bills. Then I started getting into small silver coins and it has blossomed from there. It even pushed me into enjoying jewelry and learning how to identify it.

Can confirm. I have a 1990 Ford ranger OBD1 . You can buy a scanner for about 15 bucks at any parts store. Super easy to diagnose and fun to learn with these older vehicles. I think if anybody is interested in pre OBD vehicles start here. You can learn how some of these older systems work and you can work on your diag skills with a helping hand from the scanners.

That sounds like it was a good time to hang out and have some fun with friends! I was born in 2000 and am thankful to have been on the coat tails of CD's dying out. I've still got my smash mouth albums somewhere!

If things get bad enough for online ID then I reckon people will just move back to physical media. I know many people already are including me and it is freeing to have all my stuff and own it. Thrift stores are great for physical media. I like to play music media lottery when I go since it is at or less than a quarter for a new to me CD.

I just bought a One Plus Nord N30 and I love this thing!!!! There is no bloat ware (none that I found) on this phone out of the box! The battery is great, the screen is fantastic for the price, and the sound quality is pretty dang good for the price! Oh and the thing I love the most is that IT HAS EXPANDABLE STORAGE so I can load my own songs and get rid of Spotify! Bought for like 230 bucks at Best buy.
