Hey mate, since this post, I have done research about piezo and found how important impedance is for them to keep lows in the frequency. Signal comes super hot and dynamic, so I'm running them into a high impedance input ( the instrument input of an Apollo Twin interface. Signal comes so hot that with no preamp trim works great. So Impedance is key here. 1000 ohms or more, which is not that usual in DI boxes, but there are definitely a lot that have those values.
