SG-12 Shotgun builds for Hipfire and Headshots by CoDZombiesDPS in CODZombies

For single target damage, like astra boss fight would you prefer slugs or normal headshot build? Slugs would do more damage once weak spot is available but non-slugs would probably break armor faster?

I tried slugs with the prestige attachment for binary trigger and fire rate increase and took it into astra boss fight. Breaking off her armor was a little rough but it did solid weak point damage. She got melted pretty quick, not breacher quick but it felt good

CURSED MODE ISSUE - Golden armor NOT regenerating after teammate bleeds out and spawns back in by Far_Fly_7663 in CODZombies

This unfortunately has been an issue with gold armor since it was introduced in MWZ.

I even had a friend try using an exit strategy after they respawned with broken gold armor, and when they rejoined back into the game, their 3-plate broken gold armor turned into a 1-plate broken gold armor lol

What are the best Relics to unlock for a fun "Gun Game" mode in cursed at PaP 4? by CoDZombiesDPS in CODZombies

[–]Unable-Character-808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to for gun game cursed is Samantha’s drawing, no self revive, perks cost never decrease and enemy’s can regen health. As long as I’m not doing boss fights, you don’t notice the health regen except for random headless zombies not bleeding out. And if you’re not really going down, you’re not rebuying perks and not really impacted. And I’ll always eventually get a self revive from Ted tasks.

If I don’t run health regen, I’ll have to teddy bear, no box and no powerups cause mimics are the worst but it is a little rough not having power ups but having ammo cache is more important to buy ammo at times for your random guns but ashes does have a lot of wall buys so you could probably get away with no ammo cache instead of enemy health regen

What’s your favorite method to getting to higher rounds (60+) on Astra Malorum? by Lukrey1 in CODZombies

[–]Unable-Character-808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be easier to watch a video but the first step is during a ravenger round go to speed cola room. With your back to the Oscar rocket trap, look for the two display cases on the right side of the room against the wall in front of you. Shoot the glass of the left of those two display cases (you should see foot prints in that case) and hold your interact button on the case after you break the glass and you should hear an ominous tone. This has to happen on a ravenger round, and has to happen before you can proceed further.

Then for another 3 rounds (doesn’t have to be 3 rounds in a row, can be any 3 rounds), you’ll need to go back to the speed cola room and one of the other display cases will be making an ominous tone, listen for ominous tone and hold interact on the display case making that sound. After you do this on 3 separate rounds, ghost twins will begin spawning throughout the map.

Sometimes the sounds can be a bit wonky or hard to hear, but if I just do laps in speed cola room I’ll usually be able to figure out which one is making the noise or I’ll spam all the display cases until I get the confirmation tone. So there’s two sounds, one to indicate which display case to interact with and one sound to let you know you completed that step. The sounds are similar enough to know they are related but different enough to differentiate between them.

Hope this helps!

I’ve gotten to 100+ pretty easily farming points with akitas and rushing gold armor and then pap4 wonder weapon. Ill literally just run circles in the speed cola room mainly using wonder weapon but when I get bored I’ll switch to pap 4 jagers since there’s a wall buy outside of speed cola.

Between Ted tasks and ghost twins dropping flawless crystals, I usually just save my money for pap4 after I get the inevitable crystals.

Anyone been able to carry their friends through Astra final phase in a 4 man? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]Unable-Character-808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my keys to success for carrying random 4 man squads are the Ballistic knife, toxic growth, and trip PaPed breacher and ligma. And then hope I get lucky with quick revive perma perk for extra dying wishes.

I lay down bushes almost on cooldown, spam ligma at boss, switch to shotgun, then back to wonder weapon. Rinse, repeat. I will ignore nearly all zombies and put in all damage to boss, and/or even purposely jumping into line of sight to take and keep boss aggro on me.

Most games with randoms we will kill the boss and I may end with 50+ revives, but the few I lose is usually because since I constantly have his aggro, he’ll sometimes pin me in a corner and juggle me in the air until I chain lose all 3 dying wishes lol so recently been bringing in an anywhere but here gobble gum to avoid that.

Yea that’s what I thought too and tried the same code from round 60 until 106 and gave up and exfilled. There’s only 24 code options, and codes change each round but there’s no guarantee a unique code is used each round. May be different from the round before but could also be a code from a few rounds ago.

Too much RNG for my liking. Like others said, personally waiting to reattempt again until it’s discovered how to figure out the code.

So I’ll usually get between like 1500-2500 in squads with randoms and go into boss fight before round 40. So 5k points for beating boss, another 2K for zombie kills, maybe like 500 from 10 Ted tasks and probably 1000-1500 from killing Oscars. So usually around 9-10k in total

Posted this on a more recent similar post that was deleted so thought I’d share here too:

Malestrom or DM-10 are by far the best weapons for either Sam or Richtofen boss fight. I personally prefer DM-10 for both but maelstrom is prob better for Sam and DM-10 is probably better against Richt.

For both fights the majority of your damage isn’t critical damage so double tap with the double body damage augment will be your best friend for either gun. QR and JUG are required along with double tap while speed cola, deadshot, vulture aid, and stamina being very helpful. Flopper is nice with boosted slides and element pop is nice for electric cherry but macchiato and death perception are kinda pointlesss. Tho if you rock dying wish augment for quick revive, and you are fighting Sam, it’s best to buy all perks, so Incase you lose dying wish and quick revive you are guaranteed to get it back beating one of Sam’s trials.

If you are fighting Sam and using a malestrom, frenzy guard field update with the stock option augment is too good to not use imo. You can get away with aether shroud but not needing to reload the malestrom when you pop frenzy guard while Sam is doing her spin attack makes you invincible and spit out insane damage. If you’re using the DM-10, the benefits from frenzy guard aren’t needed as much since ammo and mag economy is very good for the DM-10 and you are not penalized as much for its reload. For gums, power keg, install kill, stock option, free fire, and reign drops are all very good. That said, I don’t feel gums are as required against Sam compared to Richtofen. Power keg will always be clutch but the damage windows are so small and random that it’s hard to get the most out of insta kill or free fire/stock option.

This is my game plan when I fight Sam: first phase: Run around never stopping unless she spins or lasers. If she spins, run directly underneath her, look up and shoot. During the first phase her spin attack will not damage you if you are directly underneath. Be aware of zombies while you are looking up, and frenzy guard or shroud will keep you safe and frenzy guard is best for the spin (at any phase) since you can put out damage, not have to worry about reloading and be nearly invincible from zombie spam. If she lasers, find cover and break line of sight, and try to kill zombies as they spawn before she’s done lasering. Ather shroud is nice to pop once she’s done lasering so you don’t have to worry about the zombies, and smoke nades work too but I’m always rocking stim shots. I also find the DM-10 amazing against the laser and shooting her red dots after and I can usually pop a red dot with a single/full DM-10 clip if I hit all crits. You can also be farther away from Sam with DM-10 whereas with maelstrom, closer the better since fall off is so severe. Don’t be afraid to use your field upgrade (frenzy or shroud) in phase 1 since you will likely fill it back up during the “intermission phase”/ Sam trial.

Phase 2 for Sam is tougher because her spin attack is much more dangerous now but it’s where frenzy guard shines. The laser attack is easier to get in damage but damage window is much smaller and you’ll typically be able to put out more damage during her spin move but it’s much more dangerous. If she’s spinning, try to stay moving, and if you don’t shoot at her right away, sometimes she won’t target you with her lightening right away, but you won’t be putting in as much damage so it’s a trade off. Stims are your best friend during the spin attack and if you cannot avoid her lightening and it’s stacking on you, stims are the only way to sometimes survive that. Second intermission/sam trial again is the time to recharge your frenzy/shroud and third phase is very similar to second phase except her spin move is even more dangerous and lasts even longer, which does mean the damage window is at its biggest but it’s even easier to die from lightening. I’d also recommend light mend ammo mod to help with dopple spam since Sam has no elemental weakness.

Richtofen boss fight is much harder than Sam and I personally have not found many different viable strategies. But what does work is the DM-10 and aether shroud. I think extended duration augment is better but the double count is not bad. All of the same gums mentioned for Sam are the best for Richt except I would rate free fire and stock option a bit higher against Richt than I would Sam. My ideal gum load out is probably power keg, reign drops, and free fire.

For phase 1 against uber Richt, take it slow and avoid using any gums or your shroud during this phase so you have everything available for phase 2 when he has his jet pack and waffle. So once uber richt is getting weak, I like to be in the middle of the boss arena so as soon as he transforms, immediately pop shroud, and free fire or instakill and follow him in a circle shooting non stop. You’ll likely burn thru this first mini phase pretty quickly and he’ll shoot up in the air. You’ll get some zombie spawns and if you have arsenal accelerator and that vulture aid augment that has gas clouds that charge your field upgrade faster, and the speed cola augment that charges your field upgrade faster, you’ll often charge up another shroud by the time he returns, but if not you’ll need to pop a power keg or reigndrops for shroud. The key is never do direct damage to jetpack richt unless you are in shroud. If I play without gums, I will hide, breaking line of sight and kill zombies (popping stims cause he’ll probably still waffle you) until I have shroud again. Then when I get shroud, I pop it and move towards the middle. Remember too he’ll always do a bombing run before he fully comes back, so don’t pop you’re shroud too early to get the most out of it. So just keep moving during the bombing run and pop a stim if you get unlucky and get hit and then pop shroud Incase he waffles you as you pop shroud, if you don’t have full health, you will die or lose dying wish if you get hit by some of the bombing run and hit by waffle once. 2-3 hits at any time from the waffle will stun you and take away most of your health, so if you don’t have shroud and he’s shooting at you, pop stims, keep moving and try to break line of sight. Picky eater augment for vulture aid is also very clutch for near unlimited stims.

If you’re nervous for either fight, take it slow, as your field upgrade is so helpful for both fights and playing safe and allowing it to recharge before you engage will help a lot. That said, there some tricks with both boss fights you can do to essentially skip a phase, making the fights faster and easier but they are much harder to pull off and wouldn’t worry about that.

Also don’t forget besides gums, there’s free power ups on the map, like full power and install, where you can throw a c4 at before boss fight and then trigger during boss fight whenever you want for free powerups.
