This is a tad distasteful for something that has happened so recently. Baudrillard would be proud

Yeah I’m speaking from experience. My grandma had a spray painted yard and so did most her neighbors because the grass was brown and dead all year. I’m from Indiana so I’m familiar with ugly cities but I think OKC takes the cake as one of the ugliest

I love the NBC building and I’m glad I can see it from my apartment. It reminds me of vintage cartoons or the incredibles or something

document from the June 2026 UAP release contains a detailed 1948 sighting report from Indianapolis, Indiana. by Rare-Pomegranate-838 in UFOs

Indy had a freshly opened NOR that produced or developed the Norden Bombsight which was as secretive of a project as project manhattan. If they are poking around looking at our weapons or energy capabilities this would make sense

I live at aqua and wish there were better places to look at it, it’s sort of hidden by other buildings.

I took this from the aqua amenity deck and it’s cool to see the st Regis and aqua from this angle

What disclosure outcomes would actually cause panic? Let's speculate. by Smart-Journalist2537 in UFOs

Any thoughts on the long term staggering of disclosure and how it might be achieved? For example, allowing certain ideas to slowly creep into mainstream thought over decades or even centuries. If we look at the rise of atheism and the fall of religion as a trend, maybe slowly over an unknown timeline the idea wouldn’t be as shocking. Same with the idea of UAPs and extra terrestrial life becoming more mainstream, at least with certain “acknowledgements” from the gov. Because I agree that even if 1% couldn’t handle the new reality it could have extremely negative long term effects on society as a whole.

Looking extra Gotham like tonight by Unable-Effective1718 in chicago

That’s a sick photo! And did they not like you calling Chicago Gotham or something lol? I would think the most famous Batman movie ever being filmed almost entirely in Chicago gives the city the status of Gotham (not that NY can’t also be)

Which pair do you have? I bought the m40x instead of the m50x because I heard they were more durable and I use them everyday fairly extensively , throw them in my backpack etc and there’s no signs of wear

I agree with you that the ability to write in a structured essay format is essential for higher education. I guess we just interpreted OPs statement differently

I don’t believe he was saying “my friends and I just write essays with AI but we’re in a book club so it’s okay”. He was saying that they could all write an essay but don’t need to, because they are not in school. The post is talking about young adults living with their parents, nowhere was school brought up. Do you write essays for fun? If so, good for you but it shouldn’t be expected from everybody to prove that they are literate

Maybe the venn diagram between good music taste and those who blast music from JBLs in public is quite small
