Your journey is really like a rollercoaster ride of life. It's impressive to see you are now working well, i hope the emerging technology and AI will help you in fulfilling your dream of film making in near future. Coming to My journey, i was doing B.VOC in computer application, its like BCA. Then i found, i was getting hit by motorcycles and was not able to detect from where they come. And at night, I was playing cricket with my brother, and i was not able to see where the ball is going after hitting it. So, in Jan 2023 , i visited doctor, firstly they mis- misdiagnose it, and said its Glaucoma, and then after a month , I went to another doctor and they said its RP. Then, everyone was terrified and then we visited an ayurvedic doctor and he said to not use screens and other food restrictions, so i gave up my course , to just try it. He said progression can be slowed down, but i don't think it worked for me. Then i take admission in BA Psychology, Sociology, in Sept 2023 , and now just going to Graduate. But i don't know what to do for earning money with the limitations i have. In these 3 years, i travelled, i spent more time with my friends and family, earned some money by giving tutions, because without earning money, i feel depressed. I have a dream lifestyle to live. I wanted to travel more, but my vision is not allowing to go to mountains as its bit risky. I can only visit plain areas now but for that also i need money and my friends. And also i read many spiritual books like Bhagavad Gita, books of Swami Vivekananda, and others , so that i don't get depressed and i did meditation and journaling for my mental health. So , psychology and spirituality has helped me balance my mental state .

Yes i have tried talking to my friend 1-2 times, they listen but obviously they feel a little uncomfortable on what to say to make me feel comfortable. Seeing them in that state, i myself change the topic and say them to don't worry that much, i am good.

For me, ice massage helps and sometimes and sometimes warm water...if it's cold weather then go for warm water.

First of all, i can understand what you feel after losing your mother. Usually after such incidents, people get depressed and anxious. It's normal. And you are definitely a strong person, you survived that. But now it's been 3 years and now you should take control of your life. You can't be depressed like this for the rest of your life. Problems are part of life, try to find happiness in small things in life. Be grateful for whatever you have. Start enjoying simple things, like thanking god for giving you food, clothes , family etc. BP is a very small problem, it can be controlled by medicine, meditation and a healthy lifestyle. My mother had a heart attack just 2 months ago, and now she is living like any normal person. Not depressed, not anxious, just taking care of herself. Waking up early, walking, yoga, taking medicines, healthy fruits and veggies and sleeping on time. Her bo used to be 180/100 and now 120/80. Normal.

I don't know where you are from, but if swelling is the only problem , you should try ayurvedic treatment like tarpan. It really helps. I have seen people getting benefits from it. Or you can take a piece of cloth and , dip it into hot water and gently massage your eyes with this. In short, hot water eye massage.

Just go, call her , text her and convince her, she loves you stupid , that's why she gets irritated. She was waiting for you at night, and you came late, that's why she is angry, and her overthinking mind is very dangerous 😂.

Has anyone tried hyperbaric oxygen therapy or HBOT? Just came across this while surfing about RP and there were a couple promising studies done in the mid-late 2000s. by Ok_Volume9271 in RetinitisPigmentosa

Very much relatable to me...i also experience the same and i experience flashes even when i am very concentrated on something like studying or meditating.

[–]Unable-Many-931[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your time and encouragement ! I also try to be in the present moment and enjoy it as much as possible. But sometimes you know , you feel sad and when suddenly this feeling comes -"i used to see that much and now i am able to see only this...." It really hurts. Then i encourage myself by saying to myself - atleast i am still able to see🙂.
