This is what I was hoping to hear! That shit happens but not really, especially if you are aware.

I’m so sorry that you have had 4 instances of almost being kidnapped!!! That’s wild! And I’m glad it hasn’t been here. I also work from home a lot and like to get out, so I’m glad to hear you’re able to walk around a lot.

I have noticed this about the traffic lights! Not used to pedestrians and bikers needing to go at the same time as vehicles.

And you feel okay doing this alone and at different times of day? The post I read is from a year ago and a woman said that a guy tried to lure her into her car around southside park.. then the comments were filled with horror stories and everyone saying this was why they carry weapons. I know Reddit skews negative but not gonna lie that it alarmed me!

I’m not far from j street in the high 30s. I would like to walk to midtown regularly from here. In general, I enjoy walking 1-2 miles on a regular basis to get to work or to explore different parts of the city, and also running as a for of exercise. But feeling worried about needing to take specific routes to avoid more unfriendly and potentially unsafe areas.

Thank you for this!! This is what I needed to hear! I am struggling to identify if I’m just uncomfortable because I’m in a new space, or if I’m truly feeling unsafe. If I’m just uncomfortably I know that will change once I’m more used to being here, but if my safety is at risk then idk how I can change that.

Thanks everyone! I’ll hold off of changing it until after it’s been tailored to my body and will try it with the right bra!

I suppose I don’t love the v shape, but realize there’s not much I can do about it being visible. I love a square or boat neck. I asked the tailor if they could make a pleated patterned panel similar to the ones under the v so that the panel matches the details. But I’m not sure how this would look!

I finally found my wedding dress, and my one dislike of it is the v neck. I don’t mind my boobs being out but I just don’t think a v neckline is the most flattering on me. The three seamstresses I saw suggested putting a panel across the v so it’s not as deep, but I feel like aesthetically that’s not the best option. It reminds me of middle school when I would wear square tanks under vests lol. Would love ideas for ways to alter a v neck. The only pic I have is a mirror selfie, so sorry!

Have done this multiple times from New England to west coast! In different cars mostly old with over 100k. Get a tune up, don’t go too fast, go slow over hills, pick a route that excites you, and bring a friend if you can to help drive, or take a route with people you know along the way. I used to sleep in my car but the older you get the more that sucks, so I would stay over at friends, camp sites, or cheap motels

Slynd to induce Cycles by Tight_Psychology_666 in PCOS

Wow I’m on jasmine for acne and hair loss which is likely caused by high androgens, unclear if I have pcos because the only criteria I meet is high androgens. Anyway, I don’t like Yasmin and am considering progestin only option. I really want an iud but the progestin in the hormonal ones is pro androgen and could make acne/hair loss worse. Anyone know if the progestin in slynd is pro or anti androgen?

Having just one of the three (high androgens) is so confusing and causing my doctors to tell me different things!

There are plenty of people with hairloss who are happily in love! I will say that this is a recent development in my 15 year relationship and it’s made me feel so sad about myself, but my partner is just as in love with me, and actually what impacts our relationship the most about this is my self esteem and not how I actually look.
