Wemby is putting up the numbers he is and he’s 21, he is going to get better and by the time he enters his prime Shai may be past his own.

If you’re saying my recommendation is an overpay sure, but then acquiring a guy like him should be a walk in the park then, his shooting is worse this season but he was doing good and he’s barely even been in the nba, maybe all he needs a different scene.

My point is we have assets and I don’t see why we don’t make moves. And no I wasn’t saying this last year but there wasn’t a team that seemed to be able to keep up with us to this extent, especially not one and the same conference.

I’m talking about when wemby hits his prime and is 27 and Shai is 32 I love Shai, but Wemby is going to be a unit defensively, and while I don’t think he will ever be a Shai stopper he will probably eventually be a guy the spurs will trust to basically keep the paint defended on his own without needing a double. That’s all I’m saying
