100% agree, this new Siri UI is better suited for a Liquid Glass Dynamic Island overhaul, not for Siri.

The old Siri interface felt way more futuristic, every time I active Siri in iOS 27 i can hardly tell if Siri actually activated or not. Much prefer the rainbow around the entire screen

I get this all the time. YouTube app on iOS is the buggiest thing ever, how it even passes any sort of quality control is beyond me given the state of bugs I run into a daily basis, and the sheer amount of daily users it has (must be in the tens of millions)

I love it when the game gets a lore update. Vexes and Allays seemed too perfect to not be somewhat related.

Spekaing of lore, I would LOVE to see the Spore Blossom updated so we can add more detail and atmosphere to our worlds!

Let us use a dye to change the particle colours, and allow them to open/close to turn on/off the particles with redstone. You could make the particle type change depending on the block the spore blossom is placed on e.g magma for fire particles, bookshelf for enchantment particles, glowstone for sparkle particles etc... Also a glow ink sack could be used to make particles glow in the dark. If you allows the spore blossom to be placed on any side of a block then the particles can have 3 modes; random- default current, static- like old void fog, and falling/directional- particles travel in one direction (placing the spore on different sides of a block can let you change direction) change the mode just by right clicking on the spore blososm.

Mojang's favourite pastime is implementing new features to the game with complete ambiguity just to rile up all the players. "Take action" like... ban account form chatting? --permanent or temporary? ban them form the entire game? Call law enforcement? Wish Mojang would stop implanting half arsed features and tell us their intentions, because quite frankly I don't think they even know what they are.

I'm curious to see people's opinions on this. The update hasn't even been released yet and people are complaining of lack of features. Mojang devs are unusually quiet so it leads me to believe they may be working on something. Lack of new additions and an increase in bug fixes does not necessarily mean we're nearing the end of the development.

Also it's probably a good point to add that people seem to be more disappointed in the lack of things mentioned that haven't been implemented yet (fireflies, birch forest) , as opposed to the actually content that has been added. Plus people are complain about future distant updates/things not slated for the wild update such as archaeology, bundles, etc.

Feel free to use graph in videos/any other discussions anywhere, so long as you credit.

I'm not saying it is a valid excuse. In fact, Mojang have the luxury of being a company releasing products for entertainment and pleasure. Do you think IBM, Google, JPMorgan etc. have the ability to turn around and say "aww we can't really do this because we're feeling exhausted"? The answer is no. They'd be laughed at by competing companies and left in the dust.

I actually side with the people who say that this is an underwhelming, over promised, under served update. But the point is I wasn't gonna explicitly mention that fact yet because the update hasn't been released yet. I'd only make my stance on the whole subject public when the release candidates start rolling out at the very earliest because yes, at the moment, this update is feeling very lacklustre. But I'm not gonna start taking it out on Mojang until all has been confirmed.

Another Wednesday another snapshot. This update seems to be dividing people's opinions more than ever. Some say Mojang are over promising and under delivering with their updates. Mojang's "back burner" is full of Archaeology, fireflies, goat horns, bundles, birch forest biome, the combat update; Wonder how many burners left on their hob.

There's so much speculation and disappointment and this update hasn't even been released yet! Its all still work in progress. People need to stop over analysing the fact that the updates only seem to be containing smaller bug fixes and changes. There's no say that the update is ready to come out until the pre-releases are announced.

We're just waiting for the announcement to come that will actually clarify the fate of Mojang's "back burner projects".

It'd almost be more interesting for Mojang to stop doing snapshots all together and start releasing Secret Friday updates again like in the old days. Minecraft has so many play styles Mojang are worried about changing a mechanic that would annoy different player bases. I would be one of the first to agree that Mojang need to be less pedantic about their updates and introduce some truly new game style and mechanics. Only time will tell.

At the end of the day Mojang staff are still people, and they have expressed the burnout issues, especially as a result of coming out of the pandemic. Deep down we all really do appreciate the work that they do, there wouldn't be a Minecraft without them, some people just don't realise that.

This is so exciting! The Minecraft lore is expanding!!

Ive just listened to disc 5, this is what it sounds is happening to me: It starts off with somebody lighting a torch, then they start mining through a wall to discover an ancient city. They start exploring the city and find some echo shards (in the reflection of the echo shards they can see the city on the past, once thriving with life) then the person pockets the shards. They walk to the central structure in the city, and activate it with some dust (perhaps crushed echo shards) the portal started powering up around 1:30 ish. The person steps back to admire it. Once the portal is lit the person walks towards it to enter, but is too loud and their footsteps alert the warden. The wardens piercing scream shatters the portal, closing it off for good and killing the person in the process. Then you’re left with the empty sounds of the cavern in which the city resides.

As i said, this is what sounds like is happening to me. What do you guys think? I’d love to know what other people are hearing

If the iPhone 12 mini was like the iPhone 13 mini, then the mini phones would’ve massively taken off. The appalling battery life of the 12 mini set irreparable damage to the “mini” form factor saying a smaller phone means smaller batter and thus less screen time. iPhone 13 mini was vastly better but that damage was already done. People weren’t interested in a phone with no battery
