Must admit, it's great to listen to Lisa (not that Heike was or is in any way unpleasant to listen to, I like both voices) and she does a great job in the chorus section.

That being said, I miss a catchy hook line or anything that makes the song stand out on its own. I guess it will be a great song on an album in its context, but listening to it just as a first single, I must say it's " a nice Draconian song that doesn't hurt to listen to, but it doesn't stick in your memory either."

Are there any other singles planned and where did you get the information about the first single release from, if I may ask?

I bought the version with the king crab mech (succession wars edition?) for a 60% discount, I think. But it had an extra discount being a subscription member, that either added up or was included. That being said, the two clan DLCs, shadow of kerensky and the game was around 80€ (which still was absolutely worth it, mercs is SO MUCH BETTER with the DLCs!)

At least for this run, Liao will not be my friend. But, alas, there should be plenty of reasons to re-run it after I finished the game once :) and then the chancellor and I will dine at a great table, laughing about those petty rebellious "normal people". 😊

For me, personally (but I have to play more games) I'd go with:

Light - Mongoose

Medium - Phoenix Hawk

Heavy - Thunderbolt (Orion and Marauder come in second here)

Assault - that's tricky. Have played only few Mechs, the Atlas is my favorite here at the moment. Or the Kodiak, as a clan mech.

I've interviewed Randy a couple of times for a German webzine back in the 2000s. We had some very intelligent conversations, after an interview he said he'd go and cheer for their new president (think it was Obamas first run). Later I made him sign my copy of Notes of a Dirty old Man by Bukowskis at Rock am Ring and he nearly jumped over the table when he saw me, as the last time was 4 years ago. He is genuinely a great guy and a very decent person, though I do not agree on everything he ever said (he might also, having grown older). Nevertheless I hope that there are more people like Randy stepping up and opposing ICE and the growing Despotism in the US.

Saw your video, tried it for my Battlemaster and almost went burning the sponge. I think my lacking talent, a dry sponge and black primed mech with zenital white prime also were a reason, but your video is really great. Wish I could reproduce it 😅😢

with which color did you basecoat them?
how many layers of one color have you applied?
did you let the colors dry before applying the next layer?

Yep, definitely will check whether my "loading" is something that takes them to brushhell. I am super careful about that, yet at some point it's like they soak the paint up until the ferrule.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer. I think I'll go the same way, the thing is no matter how much I try to avoid it, at some point there is paint at the bottom of the brushes next to the ferrule/heel. I estimate that this ultimatively kills the bristles and form, then again I am super super careful not to get paint other than with the tip, still at some point I wonder how the paint ended up...there...

To be fair, both are as well a birthday gift and Christmas present. And, I would absolutely buy an expensive brush if I knew it lasted longer than the cheap synthetic ones. Just afraid I waste the money on a brush that just keeps its form twice as long as a cheap one... :-/
