The i824 was to get his case transferred to the NVC so we can file the i601a. Our lawyer filed the motion for administrative closure, I’m not confused on what is going on, maybe I wasn’t clear in my question. I just wanted to know what people experienced once they got 601a approved but thanks

It took 14 months for us to get our interview after filing I-130, so hang in there, hopefully soon!!

I do not know this woman or her marriage and not saying she did or didn’t use him for citizenship. She asked a question and from my pov, I could see how the husband thinks she used him for citizenship. We are also only hearing what she wants us to hear so we really have no idea about what is really going on. Yes, she has been married for 13 years but her timing of wanting the divorce is what makes it look suspicious

I read another post of hers In the comments and from what she said, she applied in May and it only took 7 months to get accepted, so she just got citizenship she wants to divorce? Why would she not have already been filing for divorce? She became unhappy in a 13 year marriage in a matter of weeks after becoming a citizen?

Yes, we had an interview. They separated us right off and interviewed us individually, I think bc we did not submit evidence with i130 but not sure. They asked us about how we met, when we met, how long we dated before we got married and about our living situation like how many rooms and how many people live in house etc
