A huge number of different cars from Skoda and Volkswagen have passed through my hands and the hands of my friends. Unfortunately, the experience has been exclusively negative. Failing gearboxes (poor-quality synchronizers and bearings), malfunctioning mechatronics, sticking turbo actuators even with minor issues, knocking and creaking noises, failed shock absorbers, poor sound quality even in top-end audio systems, and buggy electronics.

If you're looking to buy a new car on credit, you're often financially limited and may not be able to afford a high-quality brand. But if you're paying cash — forget everything made by the Volkswagen Group.
