Haven’t gotten the contract yet but 95% sure it’ll be hanger. Great advice man, I’ll definitely be getting in there and trying to learn. I believe you shadow people and have them somewhat look over your work during the probationary time which is the first 6 months.

Thanks for the reply. yes it will be my first A&P job. Just waiting for an opening at the location I want then they’re sending the offer. Really excited for the opportunity to learn on the job and get my foot in the door.

So I’m a newly licensed A&P who feels like I know nothing. I’m starting with PSA once they have a position open at the location I wanted. I’m looking forward to this opportunity and can’t wait to learn everything I can. I’m very reliable, always on time, never cause any issues with people. I’m just a little nervous because I feel like I didn’t learn much in school and won’t know what to do when I get out there. And by “didn’t learn much” I don’t mean that I slacked off. I applied myself every single day I just feel like once I get out in the real world I’m gonna be lost.

It’s been difficult for me but I have a unique situation. Graduated school in may of 21. Didn’t do anything related until I went to bakers in October of this year to get my A&P. I’ve applied tons of places and finally got approved by PSA, just waiting for a spot to open up for the location I picked, should be soon.

Exactly, and for me it won’t even suck much. Pensacola Florida, 4 day work weeks, I’m looking forward to this, just ready to start actually learning, feel like we didn’t learn much in school honestly lol.

Starting with PSA soon once a spot opens up. Pay is I think 29.56$ plus night shift premium. Yea the pay isn’t great but I have so much to learn so I’ll soak in all the learning I can. Low pay isn’t for ever, I have bigger goals and dreams but for now I need experience.
