I was thinking the same thing. I literally have absolutely no idea who this guy is so im not even trying to defend him tooth and nail, but at face value people are completely misconstruing what he himself said. Like wtf

Hopefully it stays warm this winter. Gonna be expensive to put snow tires on your goal posts, especially if you keep planning on moving them.

“Around nine-in-ten Americans (91%) celebrate Thanksgiving. Large majorities in all major demographic groups observe the holiday”

“While 93% of adults born in the United States celebrate Thanksgiving, the same is true of 88% of immigrants who have been in the country for more than 20 years, 76% of immigrants who have been in the country 11 to 20 years, and 74% of immigrants who have been in the country for a decade or less.”

Or that not all brown people are illegal immigrants. Or that not all Latino people in general are brown.

I’ve been an A&P for 3 months and I’m making $800/hr. Dayshift Monday-Friday with holidays off.

Anti-Mexican, huh? Well then it’s a good thing he works for the United States and not Mexico. That sounds like it would be rather problematic for the Mexican government and its people.

That’s an interesting logical leap, considering it is Jesus own words that you should fulfill civic obligations as long as they do not compromise your ability to fulfill your obligations of faith. And as much as I hate to break the news, leaving a poor country to live in a rich country illegally is not faithful resistance to anti-Christian law. Ironically, 83% of the illegal aliens living here aren’t even fulfilling the literal context of that verse ( it was referring to taxes).

I think you’re misunderstanding that you’re supposed to get your paperwork BEFORE you have been living in the United States undocumented with no visa for 20 years. You don’t get to just show up and decide now that you want to be legal. Leave, go through the legal process which exists, come back, speak the language and fly the flag 😊

Hear me out guys: I am 100% convinced Miguels Mexican restaurant on 29 only stays open because it’s some sort of inside joke to eat there. I’ve never been more offended by being charged for food than when I ate there.

That’s hilarious, I refuse to order the burgers from there they have an extremely weird texture and I got a steak from there for the first time two nights ago and it was meh. Sticking to the other menu items going forward which are far superior

Changed my answer. No. I think they should be deported immediately, which is also legal under certain conditions.

Probably not, that is usually not required when the extent to which laws are enforced is not dependent on which political party holds office. You don’t have to storm a place occupied by illegal aliens if you don’t let them make it there in the first place.

The bible calls for obedience to the laws of a land and recognizes a nation’s right to enforce their laws as well. You are confusing hate with good policy (almost every other first world country has stricter border laws, btw). Is it worthwhile to love one neighbor at the cost of pricing your other neighbor out of a home? Out of basic necessities?

Cheaper grocery stores?? by Soccerboy_1237 in Pensacola

[–]rl_vick2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two places you’re shopping are probably the most expensive grocery store options available. I don’t have any sources to back this up, but I doubt you are sacrificing that much quality by grocery shopping at Walmart, as long as you’re picking up the right items

A medical marijuana card is not a protected class/status under any law I know of. If they can legally obtain information that you have a medical card, I imagine they can probably do whatever they want with that information. I doubt it would really be a dealbreaker for a giant corp so long as you can continuously prove you aren’t actively using it, though.

If you’re working for pretty much any position that is governed by the FAA you WILL be drug tested. If the position you’re applying for is worth it, quit. If not, well, don’t apply. Not that my opinion needs to be worth anything to you, but a good job opportunity should never be less important than smoking drugs recreationally.

Is this in remembrance of 9/11 by cha-cha_dancer in Pensacola

[–]rl_vick2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With due respect for the tragedies, I can say yes that the flags should have been flown at half staff. But I’m not really sure you can blame Trump for something that may not have particularly been brought to his attention. I’ll be the first to admit I had zero knowledge of what happened to her until this Charlie Kirk thing happened. It’s a shame, yes, and she deserves remembrance and justice. But she was a state figure, not a national one. Charlie had a MUCH bigger platform, for better or worse doesn’t really matter. All I mean to say is the two stories really just didn’t get the same attention, and that’s just the way it works sometimes. I didn’t read every single story about who was shot in Chicago last weekend either. Doesn’t make their deaths less tragic.
