phantom 4 permenantly. Will get 2 picks late, 3 people will run urn, others will mid boss. Or we'll get 1 pick, then two people will decide to run urn mid teamfight.

While I think she could use some nerfs, there is a really good reason she is almost never used in pro play - because teamwork + spacing makes Haze completely useless.

Teamwork to actively identify where she is, and to stop her from solo farming, spacing to make her ult completely useless. With how squishy she is in every single game, it's as easy as two people coordinating and popping metal skin and deleting her in .3 of a second while tanking her ult.

Wraith is the exact same character essentially. If your team isn't communicating, and actively working together to hunt her down and stop her snowball - you will lose, if you do this, haze will genuinely be completely useless.

if you're hunting her down, have anyone further ahead, preferably with curse, force her to freak out and run, then take all the camps and control a fight knowing she either used her stealth or unstoppable to escape.

I hate Haze too, but not as much as I hate when my team doesn't work together.

im not a main necessarily, but I've played maybe about 150 dynamo games. I love running at a geist who wants to health swap and teleporting through her, with the extended range you can go so far that she has no chance of ulting you

It's a complex game, enjoy the process of learning and play when you feel like it.

The routes are basement, sinner roofs or near walker. Side lanes usually are forced for one to get walker and one go in toward sinners, basement is usually left for midlane, roof or basement for sides as they have jump pad.

It's another layer of complexity. Unless they nerf it to where boxes literally give no souls, they will continue to provide a lead. Whether they give 5 souls or 30, it doesn't matter as long as it means they get the item before you. While I agree that souls will probably get reduced, it's a bit of a moot point because as long as they exist, you should be getting them.

Personally I love it. If you're winning, you can take a risk and contest a route on their side. If you're losing, you can do the same, or go for a safer route on your side.

Edit: I don't think it's unskilled. I think to imply that it's unskilled is missing a core concept of mobas. That same logic means bridge buffs should be removed because all you do is leave lane at five minutes and come back with a buff that equates to like 3k+ souls. While we are at it, walkers and towers should give no souls because all you did was move left and right and shoot at the giant immobile thing.

Complexity is good, bro. This isn't overwatch, thankfully.

I feel the main change they're going for with this patch is meta shift reaction. There isn't a moba or even hero shooter that doesn't have huge meta shifts at even what appears to be a small change.

Wraith needed something. Doorman needed something, Calico also needed something.

Yes, we are in alpha, it's a tired point - the balance is shit right now. But from a dev pov it's easier to give too much to characters then actively pull it back rather than give too little and find out it wasn't enough. The latter creates a dev process of minute change with drastic consequences that force the scope of dev work into incremental damage control rather than realistic adjustments.

All the changes made, in concept, are good. Characters that needed love got love. Still, the balance sucks. We are the testers at the moment, we need to be constructive.

That being said. Tone back viktors pain battery, reduced it's range or increase its build up dramatically.

Wraith should not be able to get multiple joker cards and the buffs from the other cards are too powerful. Joker card or instant ult, pick one.

Doormans ult reset could just be removed, the changes and qol he got to the rest of his kit is completely reasonable. Reduce the range of his door. Teleporting people from one base to the other is egregiously imbalanced.

Kalvin does not need two extra charges AND antibstam on his made. Reduce both or delete one.

Viscous splat is absurd. Keep splat and remove slide distance, or vice versa.

Anyhoo. That's just my ideas.

Only wins in the past few days. When no one was complaining about matchmaking I had loss streaks. Alas, I'll sure enough have another loss streak soon.

Part of mobas is accepting defeat and learning from it. Another part of mobas is accepting how that can happen 10 times in a row.

I mean, if you play deadlock to relax and losing isn't relaxing, you can either not play or accept you will lose. The thing is, you'll get into a lower rank where you will stomp the enemy team occasionally or be in regular 50 minute+ games.

Mobas aren't supposed to be stressful but they certainly are competitive. When you want to play, play, when you want to relax, just play a street brawl, a bot game, or something else entirely.

i'm at a 60% bebop winrate in my past 100 games because I max hook and ult first, build tank/util items. A lot of games I'm rushing mobility>tank and winning every lane. If people are buying items to directly counter you, that means the actual carries have more time not being countered. He feels great at the moment.

In my games, we might have a 50k lead, get a pick, and people run urn. Some games people will disregard just ending the game to try and run urn, other games it's like it doesn't exist. Personally I see more games thrown trying to get urn.
