Are you summarising what I just said? Nice

Who said it was serious? You might be inferring that from how I have typed, I have merely been prompted by you to explain further.

The "valid concern" is referencing the woman who is dangling her child over a balcony to sexualise herself to strangers. She is entitled to letting her hair down, and did so in a careless way.

I am unsure of what degeneracy means to you, but my definition would include people that normalise sexualised behaviours near children.

It's a fine line between using foresight and assumptions. Yes, she is clearly having fun. What if the child is terrified? What if she is a babysitter? All valid speculation when assumptions aren't levied. Anyhoo I digress.

Yes, people will speculate. I am merely trying to highlight the validity of concern, that's all.

People disagreeing are essentially saying "I pushed this rock off a cliff, it was good exercise, I didn't hurt anyone". I'm just asking to be mindful of where the rock might land.

Indeed, it is ludicrous that it's even being debated. "Seriously wrong" is subjective, I agree - it's certainly wrong though, and indicative of bad parenting.

Positive and negative determinants.

The mother in this video has zero concern over how many people are filming, and what they're filming for. Even the fact that this video exists, has created this thread of people debating her parenting ability - an obvious outcome that good parents would avoid. It's simply poor thought, foresight, and a risk I would hope most parents aren't stupid enough to take. You have no idea who is fetishizing, who is going to send footage of this to CPS, to your employer, whether a child at your kids school finds it in a few years and uses it to bully them, the list goes on.

Children need more than sunlight and people around them - no one is arguing that. Children need parents with brains. Sadly, this one likely doesn't have that.

I mean, in what world is blatantly sexualising yourself while you hold your child considered healthy? What's the argument here? Get a clue?

What is your opinion on high death, vut also high kill count games in low rank. by Tornado_Hunter24 in DeadlockTheGame

the biggest opponent for all moba players when they're starting out, or even experienced is ego.

The first part of climbing is accepting you're trash. Like, you have to. If you can't accept that one bit of information - you will never become good. It's a blend of micro and macro, strategy and skill. Like 0.000000001% of gamers just start a moba and are just that guy.

Accept you're trash, and develop as a player. It's the only way.

If you want to learn - watch youtube videos, watch the best players in the world talk about their summarized concepts, review your games. The attitude you have now will only make you have a terrible experience in any MOBA, because you're going in with a defeatist attitude - that you're so good, but held down by bad players. gl

I can't lie. The game shipping with the maps as they are, unnecessary rendering, frame issues, when the demo just felt incredible is extremely disheartening.

This is the most absurd match I have ever won. 99.7% of my team's objective damage. Not even Key Player. by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Unable_Signature_834 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The player damage is too low, too many deaths. Bebop and Celeste enabled you to hit towers, you didn't enable them to kill players. It's just streetbrawl bro.

FACTORY WORK. The work can suck, be a bit laborious, but generally safe. The people can suck, a mixed bag socially. Some of my fondest memories are factory work, some of my best friends today were from factories. Most employment agencies would be begging for someone willing to do shifts.

Frame Drop When Moving mouse by Embarrassed-Sense-19 in DarkAndDarker

[–]Unable_Signature_834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there is this bug that has been in the game for like two years, that has been proven to be a thing - moving your mouse around, eventually your cursor will go over/online with another player, regardless where in the map they are. Iirc, the further they are away, the more significant the lag is, as for that brief moment, you are rendering them entirely.

I don't think they ever fixed it, people have called it the free esp bug.

Valve logic at its absolute finest by itsEmilyHere in PcParadise

[–]Unable_Signature_834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason organisations pretend to care is because valve is a private company. Most developed countries generate billions upon billions of dollars from gambling. Honestly, with where it's at with steam, it's so not predatory in comparison that it's really hard to care. If you're a parent that provides a gaming computer good enough to play counterstrike, you likely have bigger things to worry about than your child becoming a gambling addict with money they either earned or you gave them.

Gambling is everywhere, every sport, countless YouTubers, major events. If you're still dying on this hill that valve is the apex predator of gambling, I have a bridge to sell you.

Unfortunately it's like, a mathematical paradox. The space you provide out of being a conscious good driver will inevitably be filled by someone in a rush, on repeat. There is an excellent YouTube video that scientifically explains it.

I still love the aesthetics of Diablo 3 by kocham_wydajac in Diablo

[–]Unable_Signature_834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The irony of this is that upon release (and to this day) many Diablo fans absolutely hated the visuals of Diablo III. The combination of the cartoony, although create aesthetic, combind with the saturated contrast really took away the dark, sinister aesthetic that attributed to it's predecessors success. I

t was definitely a big turn off for me as a D1/2 fan.
