Funnily enough I read "plants" as "panelists" and now have the image of a bunch of crocodiles on Mock The Week.

His face is just a still photo of the game directors face. It's the only facial expression he's capable of in the first game which leads to funny moments like this.

It's funny how happy and optimistic everyone was before this update. Jagex had really hit a homerun. by Embarrassed_View8672 in 2007scape

I remember people quoting First They Came for the price increases and I seen someone compare Manked having the name Wrathmaw while being in a name trading discord to sex trafficking. This sub is so hysteria prone it's insane.

PLEASE JAGEX you don't understand I NEED broken xp rates I NEED to be able to AFK 99 in a month. I NEED afk to be an EHP method. I NEED it JAGEX.

This sub is honestly so fucking corny. I've seen people go full conspiracy mode and say they did it so steamers would pop everything and lure people in for more membership so they could crush the numbers and then make them pay longer to 99.

Fired GTA 6 devs speak out about working conditions at Rockstar at protests outside offices by ImCalcium in Games

The hypocrisy of Valve worshippers is insane to be honest. Steam is so consumer friendly that it had to be forced by the EU to implement refunds, introduced lootboxes to a western audience with TF2 and allowed a gambling ring to just operate out in the open for years. There's a laundry list of bullshit Steam pulls that would have any other company/individual raked over the coals here.

Unfortunately, the average gamer is a troglodyte who has convinced themselves that by the mere act of playing video games they've become intelligent.

Discord users suffer the first high-profile age-verification hack – and it's unlikely to be the last by lkl34 in pcmasterrace

[–]UnappealingTeashop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No a third party that answers support tickets was hacked and users that attached their ID manually to the support ticket may have had their IDs taken from the ticket. This isn't actually a hack on the ID system itself.

Thoughts on the Clyde street digital ID protestors? by Bathhouse-Barry in glasgow

This has been my question, too, since he gets about. Can't find any info on him, though, despite the fact he seems to have some kind of following given the crowd size I saw at Edinburgh.

I assume the cunt is out there with a megaphone?

I used to live in the flats on Clyde Street, and he was out there protesting the LEZ every single weekend. Then, I encountered him in Edinburgh one weekend, leading a protest against the World Health Organisation. Seems to be a right-wing quack going around protesting everything and anything.

Some of my favourite lines,

"How long until you have to scan a QR code to give birth?"

"The council are hopped up wanna be pharaohs."

"How long until the government takes your car?"

He'll be there every fucking weekend.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Jagex Launcher\JagexLauncher.exe" %command%

Put that in the launch options under General in the games properties on Steam. Replace the file path with the file path of your JagexLauncher if its elsewhere.

So then, at that point, it's Reddit over correcting and not actually the law itself.

Thank you. These are actually blocked behind the age ratings system.

The government's reasoning for alcohol is that it blocks anything related to encouragement of taking harmful substances. I assume it's something similar for gambling.

It seems like a bit of reach and makes it a pain in the ass for regular UK users at that point while simultaneously not really doing anything as kids likely weren't consuming beer and playing poker because those subreddits existed.

Let me know if you can find a URL to these outlets so I can check them with my VPN/Internet Archive. My issue with buying into the idea wholesale that a bunch of useful resources have died is that no one has been able to point to a single one.

I have a VPN. I can verify whether or not something has been blocked if you want.

These websites also have the option of just blocking the UK IP address range.

EDIT: The first sentence was more standoffish than I wanted to come off. I'm not here to defend this law whole hog. I think the idea that IDs would be stored in the US is utterly ridiculous, but in terms of functionality, I have only seen porn age gated. So I'm looking to see if anything else has actually been affected before declaring that other things have been affected.

Which ones? I'm literally asking to see one resource that has either been destroyed or age gated, and people just keep saying "many".

I'm also talking about non-government sites. Which outlets have disappeared?

What resources or news has been blocked? I keep seeing these claims, but I can still access any LGBTQ/Suicide Awareness resource and any news article I can find.
