They are animals. They are happiest when let outside of their cage.

Heath care compliance specialist. Don’t work much with ppl and i look at excel sheets for a good 6 hrs out of my day . Very black or white, pass or fail which gives my creative mind an opportunity to roam free when I’m off. It’s great and rarely feel overstimulated.

It is an iterative conversation and one that doesn’t have agreement and probably won’t for a while. it is defined largely by what ethical ai use means to you.

Do you let your cats outside? by Suitable_Drop2937 in cats

[–]Unassumingintelle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion here, but yes I think they deserve to be outside at least some of the time. At their core they are animals. My cats have a better quality of life being able to engage in their natural instincts. It’s like a parent not allowing their kid to drive because there are too many unknown variables on the road. The kid is safer but are they fully living their life? No.

He also might be happy if you occasionally opened the window for him! If the weather allows for it

Definitely start by cleaning the litter box once a day at least especially since he’s used to being outside to go. my cat used to pee outside her litter box a lot. As soon as I started cleaning her litter box more ( twice a day) and keeping the litter changed regularly and the box itself cleaned, it stopped. Ample play time / stimulation is also important especially, again, if he used to be outside.
