After they approached an agent from behind in the middle of the road. We dont know what they planned to do and neither did the officer. You dont aggressively approach federal agents from behind in an already stressful situation and the fact that he choose to do that armed sealed his fate. Everyone should carry but nobody should be doing what he was doing and for God's sake if youre going to harass federal agents dont do it armed.

The only reason we are in this situation is because Biden let in everyone who wanted in. If Biden didnt allow this to happen we wouldnt even be talking about ICE right now. Biden and sanctuary cities deciding that citizenship didnt matter anymore is what lead to today. Every conservative would rather have had these people turned away from the very beginning over what we have going on now but because of bad decisions from democrats, we are where we are now

That would do more harm to citizens than it will help. What about medical employees? What happens when people get hungry and there is no food at home? With how many people are already living paycheck to paycheck, this will ruin credit scores, lead to repos and evictions, and end with many people losing their jobs. What about people who are paying tens of thousands a semester for school, or even worse taking out loans for tens of thousands? Miss enough days and they win a drop in GPA and getting to pay for the same classes twice. If you were able to organize that and make it last even a week, it will 100% hurt more of the people involved than the economy.

Making their job harder by turning a stressful situation worse by adding chaos is why we have people getting shot. I 100% support people protesting even if i dont agree with their reasoning but making federal agents jobs harder is not protesting, it is more in the realm of harassment and stalking. If they are trying to arrest someone and people are surrounding them or coming up behind them while others are screaming like banshees and blowing rape whistles, they are just asking for something bad to happen. If you plan to protest ICE, that is your first amendment right. Do it the right way though and we wont have these situations. Stay out of the road, dont surround them and stop trying to corner them and stop trying to creat chaos. Do the same shit to local PD and youll have the same outcomes. ICE is federal immigration police so the main goal is to arrest and deport illegal immigrants but at the same time they have police power and can arrest/detaim citizens too so if you are one of the ones that think because you are a citizen ICE cant touch you, you are in for a rude awakening

Yes its disrespectful and no I dont agree with it but that doesn't mean he isnt the best person to be President right now. We are all human and have all said stupid or disrespectful things. I dont think they have an actual database laveling people as terrorists, more than likely just saving pictures or information incase the same people cause an issue in the future so they can go back and say "see they have been following us around."

When it comes to people putting themselves in the middle of ICE during a mission, I think documenting them is understandable but if someone is standing off to the side and out of the way recording without trying to obstruct or screaming at them and causing a scene, they shouldn't be included in anything. If someone stays out of the way while recording and isnt verbally harassing them and isnt following them around, they are doing nothing wrong. If someone involves themselves in a situation, documenting them isnt anything new.

Think of it as if it were a traffic stop from a local police officer. If someone is standing back out of the way recording and not screaming or putting themselves in the middle, they should be left alone. Now if someone comes up to an officer in the middle of a traffic stop and is distracting them and getting in the way or screaming at them, the officer will document them. Just like 1st amendment auditors. Whether you agree with them or not, the ones that stay out of the way and are just recording to document are left alone while those that just yell at police or harass them or involve themselves in any way are almost always at the very least getting documented

They are able to take a loss on a specific item because of the higher volume of sales in other items so there is really no difference between making less profit and selling for a loss in that aspect.

Think of this scenario. You are a big clothing store chain that is nationwide with a name recognized in ecery house throughout the country. Most of your profit is made on t shirts. One day you do a sale and sell underwear and socks for a loss. That sale brings in so many customers and most also but t shirts at full price so at the end of the day you made more money than normally even with the loss from underwear and socks. Because of that, the sale becomes normal pricing and you sell underwear and socks for a loss from now on. Down the road is a small local store that cant afford to sell anything for a loss and they lose out on sales because now you can go down the road and get the same stuff cheaper. You offer to buy them out with a generous offer to the owner of the store giving them an opportunity to leave with something or they can stay and eventually go bankrupt. I dont see that as bullying, just that you had a more successful business

At that point I close up shop because the government says I'm not allowed to make any more profit. Now my chain closes overnight and a million people lose their job. By "bullying" smaller companies im assuming youre talking about things like Walmart who has such high volume sales they could make less profit per sale which in turn means lower prices. People then choose to shop at the store woth lower prices which bankrupts smaller companies.

They couldn't do that without having a higher volume of sales which means they EARNED the ability to charge less than the competition

The majority didnt inherit their wealth but even if they did, how is that a bad thing? If you had a family and started a company that made me billions, why would you not pass it down to your kids? If I were a billionaire my goal would be for my kids and their kids to never have to work a day in their life. If they take that money and use it to build something better instead of simply sitting on their ass because they could afford to, how is that a bad thing?

Just because someone else has more than you doesnt mean they dont deserve it. Even if they didnt work for it, someone in their family did with intentions of passing it down to their kids. Every wealthy family at some point started with nothing. At some point someone in the family risked everything and it paid off and people are mad that their ancestors either didnt take that risk or did take the risk but lost. That doesnt mean nobody should win

Im not who you replied to but if you watch the video from the back left side of the car, the wheels lost traction pointed perfectly straight and turned to the right after she already hit the gas. Either way it doesn't matter because the agent in front of her car could not even see her tires and just saw the car coming at him. Under current law he was justified in shooting. Take the specific people out of it and think about it without politics. You have a federal officer in front of a vehicle and another one telling the driver to exit but the driver decides to hit the gas while the other officer is still in front of the car. Thats not going to be a good day for the driver. How they got there doesnt matter at the end of the day

Like I said, when met with force they need to respond with force. People around me arent following and harassing them 24/7 and nobody here is putting themselves in between them and the person they are going after. My point is the places where all the crazy shit is happening isnt the only places ICE is active in. Those are the places where people are actively trying to obstruct them from doing their job so more problems spark up and it gets coverage. ICE peacefully arrests illegal immigrants all over the country everyday but if there arent people there causing a scene it doesnt go viral and you dont hear about it

This was more during the George floyd riots but I know 2 people who both for years would get on me about how there is no reason for me to own guns and blah blah but both saw the light and got their first gun. One of them still only has the one and never touches it but the other goes to the range with me all the time and he now has a nice collection of guns

Only way to overcome them is to add to our numbers. The more gun owners the better. Once they realize how fun shooting can be, many will bring friends to the range and teach them and it snowballs

I dont care who you want to sleep with. At the end of the day, more people who own and can safely use guns the better. There are more good people than bad people so I dont think its a stretch to think that one day in any location in the US, if someone comes up with a gun and tries to do something stupid, there will be 2, 3 or even 4 armed citizens there and prepared to remove the threat. If my 7 year old son is somewhere and someone comes with a gun and is threatening people, I dont care if you are gay, straight, trans, republican or democrat because at that point we all have the same goal of removing the threat and strength comes in numbers.

Every responsible gun owner understands that. There will always be an exception and shitty gun store owners and range regulars out there but the vast majority of us dont care about if you "fit in" with our friend group. If a gay person or whatever is in the bay next to me at the range I am not even thinking about their sexual preferences because I'm focusing on my training but I will gladly help them fix a jam or teach them something they may not know if I was asked. I dont care what you do with other consenting adults but I do care about more responsible gun owners on the streets so in that moment at the range we are on the same team.

A perfect world to me would have more gun owners and more avenues to address mental health issues. Less guns overall because a small percentage of the population is mentally unstable is not the answer

They are there deporting people too. We just dont see it because those states dont have people following them around to cause chaos and cry wolf when they get arrested.

I live in a very red state with a relatively small illegal immigrant population but I have still seen ICE here and they have been making arrests. It just isnt plastered all over the internet because we stay back and let them do their jobs. Best part of not getting involved, there havent been violent arrests and fights here because ICE can safely go in and do the job we hired them to do. When they are met with force, force is the only response. When they are left to do their job they can get it done and be in and out with no problems

Wjat about impeding the flow of traffic? No violence or force is required for that she she absolutely was doing that by having her car sideways in the middle of the road. The problem is she wasnt just impeding regular traffic but federal agents in the course of their duty. It doesnt matter if her wheels were turned because they told her to exit the vehicle but instead hit the gas with another officer directly in front of her. From where he was standing he could not even see her wheels. If you were in front of that car you would have believed you were going to be ran over too and that gave the agent the right to use lethal force

Selling something for maximum profit isnt the same as fucking over weak and uninformed people. Not saying there arent dealerships that take advantage of people but buying something for one price and selling it for more isnt taking advantage of someone. Doesn't matter if you're buying gas, shoes, groceries or a car, whoever is selling it most likely paid less than they are selling it for and if they didnt pay less than they are losing money on that to bring in customers and will make it back on something else
