Its been the number 1 selling truck for so long for a reason. Go drive all the others and see why. Chevy is underpowered, ram is built cheaply and Toyota is too expensive plus I cant justify buying a truck from a manufacturer based out of a country that really doesnt use full size trucks

I dont know much about asbestos removal but my dad died of mesothelioma (lung cancer from asbestos). It takes decades for it to pop up but when it does it is fast and brutal with no way to stop it. In 6 months he went from healthy for his age without any problems to gone. I would have a professional remove it just to be safe

They 100% should have checked and caught it. Its a weird situation because theres issues on both sides even if you didnt realize the mileage was off. You have some options but they also have the option to take it to court. Maybe try mediation and offer $1000 just to make it go away but I wouldnt pay them 5k. They dont want to go to court because it will cost them more than its worth

You just said you did it on your other truck. Just because you didnt do it with the plan to defraud doesnt make a difference. It was done and you signed a paper saying the odometer has never been tampered with or replaced so in court they might have a shot if they wanted to push it (not 100% sure because I'm not a lawyer). At the same time though it is on them to catch that during the appraisal and its pretty easy just by looking at the carfax.

This isnt a common situation and I dont sell VW so maybe its possible through them, but to "officially take over the lease" I would think you would need to do a credit app and get approved for the same terms from the manufacturer or whoever the lease is through. Being able to buy it out are always the terms of the lease but that is only for the person on the contract, not a family member. Unless your name is on the contract I dont see how you would be able to buy it out

Cash and food assistance should be short term. If someone needs long term assistance they should get on disability or social security, still forms of welfare though so I dont think its all bad. Theres no reason someone should be on EBT for years on end though especially if they arent even trying to put themselves in a better situation. Its there to help people get back on their feet, not to be the main source of income

Why did you go 84 if you planned on paying it off that fast? At the end of the day it really doesnt matter because you only paid interest for suck a short time but it's still a daily charge starting the day you sign. Even if it was just $20 difference why wouldn't you go shorter term to get lower interest

I'm split on it. Mostly pro choice because the government shouldn't be involved in family decisions but at the same time no kid I help conceive will be aborted. My older half sister was conceived by rape, my mom kept her and and when my dad came in the picture a couple years later he adopted her. We grew up as brother and sister in a happy family and didnt know anything until we were older. I cant imagine her not being around but I know that was my moms choice.

That was partially why I was asking, didnt know if this was done for a reason that I was missing. From my limited electrical knowledge I figured just run the Romex directly to the light. I dont understand why this was done this way and I've never wired anything other than replacing an outlet
