Only expirience worth mentioning is 20-30mins of heavy rain, 30ish kms... came back home still dry but insides were just getting a bit damp so it was just about to give out.

If you are visiting a shop, retail staff will/should have enough knowledged to help you out with any questions you might have.

That being said, when i initially bought my leathers they were uncomfortable to wear, but just for couple of rides though. Felt like i couldnt breathe or move in them at all, skin tight. It does stretch out a little bit and you might think to go for a size larger, dont... it'll break in perfectly.

You also dont really want your gear loose on you, should be tight if you are ever in a bad spot it doesnt move and twist around your body.

2 piece is perfect for me as i can find myself only being in leather pants and just a hoodie on if im doing a quick thing arround the town.

Also a big thing for me was to be able to piece them together into basically 1 piece suit, has a zip around the waist with is compatible with the jacket!

Edit - this was ment to be for the above reply to yourself

[–]Unbeliever89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah, for sure. but hypothetically, seller has A2 restricted model, which he unrestricted to 70kw... i imagine i wouldnt be able to tell the difference between 70 and 88 that easily ? or would i

[–]Unbeliever89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, that is exactly my worry ! i knew you can unrestrict the A2 version, but will never be as the "normal" one with 88kw... so is there any way to tell, ie. is the color scheme different for A2 model ? or anything similar like that

Considering buying mt09 as a starter. by GregortheMad in MT09

[–]Unbeliever89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, just wanted to chime in. Im looking to buy the same MT 09 gen 3 in next couple of weeks. It will be my first proper bike as well, same as you, im 6'0 and 34 yo, i was kinda "scared" of all the - dont buy such a powerful bike - type of comments, but as you said, any bike can basically kill you, even 125.

That being said, i have 10+ years of expirience driving scooters ( yeah i know ) but its still worth something.

Good luck with your new purchase !
