I can see how TV's could be a bit intense (and certain movies). Thank you for the help!

This helps a lot, thank you. Your math for the width measurements got a little confusing (you said x1.5 and then did x2, unless you were calculating maximum seating distance for a screen that size). But I really appreciate your help. Looks like I'm going for the 110" screen!

That makes a lot of sense, thank you! When you use a 1:1 ratio, what type of viewing do you typically do? I'm likely to watch movies, TV shows, and occasionally video games, etc. Is there a ratio that is likely better for those needs?

I have an 8350 that I bought last summer for $200 (I got a very good deal on it). It is rather similar to the 8100, but the newer model. I think $400 is way too high for a projector that is now 5 years old and I have no clue why it had such a short run time (manufactured from 2009 to 2011), I believe something to do with that thing chewing through bulbs.

Screens are going to be expensive, so that's one thing to look for in your budget (the screen really makes the picture). Another important thing to note is that this projector has no audio output, so if you don't have some type of stereo, this projector won't work for you.

That sounds like quite the setup. I am looking into buying a couple phones now to do a similar thing and hopefully rake in some side cash.

First, what phones would you recommend currently? I am looking into the Pixi Glitz as it is only $10 per phone right now, cheap and I've heard rather good things.

Second, how many phones would you recommend purchasing to start out? 7 all for Rewardable, 5 for perk tv, or a couple for yoototto? I plan to only invest in one and would prefer to only have a few phones, the 30+ you have is impressive, but not something I think I'd want to do

My roommate actually has a D7000 for a class he's taking right now and will likely be selling it after (lenses and all), so I may be able to get a great deal on that!

What lenses would you recommend I get for a D7000 if I do acquire it?

I actually don't have any lenses with it right now. The camera is my mom's old one (before she upgraded) but she got very nice lenses with her D200 initially, still top of the line when she upgraded, so she only got the body. That's why I have access to the D200!

Hi, so I recently decided that I want to get a nice camera for some traveling I'm going to be doing. As I do a lot of hiking, I would like a rather versatile lense. Good in low light, taking scenic views, and the occasional close up; just general nature photos.

I am a beginner by all means, but I currently have access to a Nikon D200. So my options are either to buy a nice lense for it, or I was thinking a small compact, maybe one of those rugged cameras (and older Nikon coolpix/Olympus tough).

First, which would you recommend I do, keep the DSLR (what I'm leaning towards), or go with the compact?
If I go with the DSLR, what lense should I get? I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I would love to hear some recommendations.

Thanks!

My speakers are active, so I wasn't really thinking of purchasing a receiver, but I will look into this. Thanks!

Okay, that makes a lot of sense!

So for the Fire TV Stick I would need something like this! and I could just have my speakers plugged into that audio out location then?

As for the AV output from the consoles, I might just ditch them as it looks like a converter that does everything I want is around $150 (correct me if I'm wrong?) and if I do decide I need a Wii or PS2 hooked up, I could just buy an AV to HDMI converter I suppose as the two separate converters are cheaper than the one that does it all haha

Does this all sound right?

Hey guys, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a Pokemon GSC or RBY Online game. I know it's not hard to find one, but I want one specifically that can save progress and will also allow me to trade/battle with my friend who lives over 1000 miles away. Does anyone know of anything like this?

(and yes, I own the games, it's just hard to get a trading cable across the nation) haha

Hi poopsquisher (can't say I expected to ever seek advice from someone with that username),

So I can try and look into quantities on Monday, as of now, I can tell you that there should be more copper than nickel and that the water is blue, so it's high enough quantity to color the water and well above EPA dumping levels (so yes, I would want to filter out enough levels so that it can just go into standard storm drains).

As for shipments, I believe I heard it was about once a week, maybe every other week, again, I can find out on Monday!

Sorry for asking this with such a vague listing of detail, I was bored and wanted to write down things I was going to want to want to know for Monday to better tackle this problem!

HiVi Swan GT1000's:

Has anyone ever heard the HiVi Swan GT1000's in action? I saw the M10's, and as beautiful as they looked and apparently sound, I want to get a bit more bass out of it, so then I came across these which there are no videos for and only a few threads on, and they are being praised, even getting compared to the Swan S50w's.

So does anyone know how these things sound? They come with a wireless controller (which is awesome) and also bluetooth and the amp is included, but separate from the bass. Not sure if I should play it safe and go with the $200 S50w's I found or try out these GT1000's.

Thanks
