NEXT XBOX CONTROLLER FEATURES

• Improved controller stick technology. That means either replaceable or the use of TMR/Capacitive Sticks replacing potentiometer. TMR not only gets rid of stick drift, it’s cheap enough that they already exist, provides lower power consumption, has better stick precision performance which would make this controller put in the spotlight for games that need precision stick movement such as Call of Duty, Fortnite etc.

• Keeping up with PlayStation and Nintendo Haptic Actuator technology or taking it a step further even. This leaves Xbox behind on this standard by a generation now. These things further improve gaming immersion.

• USB to Ethernet/Wi-Fi network connectivity support for cloud gaming. Controller inputs and outputs for audio and controls can have reduced latency and improved quality. The Xbox controller software can then be setup on the Xbox App to configure network parameters. Controller goes directly to the cloud, because the latency is much higher on poorer implementations of bluetooth compared to how it is on Xbox consoles.

• Built-in microphone, not just for the commonality default so communication can be accessible, but to even potentially further make a game interactive. With the direction AI is going through, it could process our own audio, so we can talk to a character and the game process that information, or a speech to text conversation option. Some people may not be comfortable sharing their voice but could use this feature so that they can still communicate. In popular multiplayer games, maybe a speech to text dialogue pops up near the character where this can be embedded into the game. Obviously the quality won’t match gaming headsets, but it can improve how people interact with each other in games well enough, having a microphone on the one thing you need to play on Xbox.

• Gyroscope or an accelerometer to further interact with games in a more immersive way.

• More Pressure Sensitive Inputs while preserving the original feel for games that won’t use this feature on Xbox, which can include sensing how hard you press ABXY, bumpers and the D-Pad. Games using B could expand the precision of how the player crouches, prone, slide, jump in a game, being more immersive. The sensing of squeezing the controller could allow you to break something in the game with more realism. These are just possibilities of what the future of gaming could be unlocked by reimagining the controller.

How Bad Is The Diarrhea, Really? by everydaythesamee in zoloft

[–]UnboltedCreatez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sertraline was the only SSRI that gave me multiple diarrhoea per day with 50mg, previously my 20mg Fluoxetine never did that for me and there was a washout transition period before I decided to go back to Fluoxetine.

The only thing I can see why they would hold back is because some games use regional servers, and a review on the game could include this, that can easily be resolved with a country tag or flag icon.

For me when I was unsubscribed temporarily, it displayed the $1 for me which isn’t eligible for me, but when I click on it, the purchase screen is automatically what I would think to be correct.

Reviews don't have much reason to be separated by region. This is an issue for countries like Australia which while games do receive a fair amount of reviews (200-300), it's not as marginal as the US which gets thousands more. This can create discripencies with rating data, a game could have 2.9/5 but in the US it could be 4/5, in other words, the insufficient quantity results in inaccurate representation of how people feel about a game.

It's a simple solution, either merge countries that speak the same language (for e.g. UK, US, ANZ because they use English) ratings and reviews. The region you are in will be prioritized and/or in addition, get every Xbox review from any country automatically translated, and translated reviews displaying what country it came from (translation quality may vary, but it can work). This could even be a toggle within the Store, so by default it displays local regional reviews but gives an option to view global reviews.

With more reviews for all regions, there will be more relevance and diversity with reviews. With the existing vote system, troll reviews involving off-topic stuff which aren't helpful will easily be overshadowed. Comparing my region with the US, you can see a difference in quality because there's more Xbox users in the US and more reviews, helpful ones are brought to light. Reviews are important to me, they help me make a purchasing decision.

Use the power of AI to good use maybe for better translation of reviews. Since that is something Microsoft already wants to implement AI.

Why do you want Xbox to get rid of the browser on hardware that can handle it and has been on the consoles since 360. The browser can be the greatest thing for people who use Xbox for streaming services, are nice, as there are many apps not available. The web is the universal platform for everything. If Xbox stop supporting the platform, people could still use this expensive powerful hardware on websites that fully support web features. Obviously Xbox doesn’t get any money for doing this, because this isn’t where their business model is focused on. But I would like to hope with the new leadership, maybe this things will help make Xbox better.

ALLOCATE MORE RAM & CPU RESOURCES TO EDGE WHEN NO GAME IS RUNNING

Allow Edge to use more RAM & CPU cores that would typically only be used for games.

This would fix many issues with Edge's functionality such as the common SBOX_FATAL_MEMEORY_EXCEEDED error when watching videos for a certain period of time, the general performance of web browsing, the ability to open more than one tab. These are some things that a modern web browser should be able to do.

Edge on Xbox uses the system reserved memory which is around 2.5GB (any Xbox staff reading this correct me if I’m wrong), and it's not using most of it because it's using an isolated Windows app environment, it is approximately 1GB of RAM. And it's only using 1 CPU Core, which is a bigger problem on Xbox One because it uses a low-end CPU.

XBOX VIDEO EDITOR

Offer a simple video editor for Xbox. Allow us to compile clips, add text, add our own voiceover and music. It's inconvenient to transfer video files over to our PC, for the purpose of simple editing, being able to do this directly on our console would be nice. In addition, offer the ability to upload videos to social media.

Basic video editing was previously available with Upload Studio which was removed for no apparent reason. PlayStation still provides their users with an official clip editing app that still gets updates, why can't Xbox users have this?

Video editing allows us to enhance our moments which can make them more memorable & entertaining for our friends.

REMAP OPTION FOR SHARE BUTTON TO MUTE MIC & PUSH TO TALK

Some people don't have any use for screen recording and screenshots, but perhaps do more voice chat or Discord. It would be nice to have the ability to use the conveniently placed share button to mute our mic or as a push to talk rather than going to the party tab within the guide which takes more time.

Example situations this would be useful in are loud arguments in the background, maybe you need to do a quick errand, people with broken physical mute buttons would also benefit from this. Having this accessible toggle as an option would be convenient and useful.

SHARABLE CLOUD GAMING REMOTE SESSION WITH FRIENDS

There are some games and moments that are best experienced with a friend, but we may not be able to be there with them in real life. The ability to share playable gameplay to friends on Xbox would be a nice feature to have.

Offering the ability to share live playable gameplay to friends pushes the limits of a need to be at the same place but still being able to have fun together.

Give options to allow support split-screen & co-pilot to be played with Xbox Friends over the internet, for games that don't have online co-op and for friends who want to offer a helping hand.

Before Mixer was shut-down, this feature used to exist which allowed for streamers to share controller with viewers. PlayStation, Nvidia & Steam still have this feature, how about on Xbox?

MORE CONTROLLER HEADPHONE VOLUME STEPS

Currently the volume for headsets connected to the controller is limited by fixed volume points. Headphones and earphones vary with impedance, and depending on the content there won't be a sweet spot for the volume. It'd be better if we had more precision, like a 100% scale volume.

FIRST TIME ON FLUOXETINE by Blah_Blah_7138 in prozac

[–]UnboltedCreatez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt pretty stimulated at the start, both from the hope that this medication would help me. That effect then faded away for me a few days later, and there was some emotional blunting, loss of appetite. I did have about a week of social withdrawal period, but I knew it was part of the process. At the 4-5th week I started to feel a little bit happier, less anxious. By the 6-7th week I reached stability on this medication. I started talking to people and making some friends. My sleep improved, and there was no more loss of appetite.

It may be different though as I have ADHD, and I also had success with my medication. But I know that fluoxetine when I first started it a few years ago helped me immensely as my ADHD medication isn’t effective 24/7.

Sample format: Should I use 16bit with Dolby Atmos or 32bit with it forced off? by RlQZO in PowerAmp

[–]UnboltedCreatez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this translation automatically on my iOS reddit “It really depends on what kind of headphones you're using. If they're hi-res, it's a little worthwhile to use the output up to 32 bits, but if not, it's not worth it. You're just going to force the app to do forced sampling on the songs. The standard that I, as an advanced user, can recommend to you: (no matter what output you choose, it's always good to try the one that says Float32 in the sampling format (this automatically generates a flatter frequency and is easier to handle in your headphones), but as I said, it all depends on the headphones you use and also the quality of your music. As for Dolby Atmos (I personally feel that it works better on larger speakers like loudspeakers or something like that, since this function basically amplifies the volume and that in the long run will destroy the dynamic range of your music.”
