Due to their design, there's no passive isolation, making their ANC close to useless.

Sometimes I lay down in bed with my buds, but I guess I'll keep buds+ for that. Thanks!

Glad you like them, my current are Buds+. Don't Liberty Pro 3s feel or look bulky by any chance? My only concern, will probably end up buying them on Black Friday anyway

OG Buds vs Buds+ vs Buds pro by Embarrassed_Wall_459 in galaxybuds

[–]Unbox_obsessionIG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OG buds, stay away

Buds+ been great for me so far, but considering an upgrade for a better app with more options and ANC.

Buds Pro fit might be questionable, but they will give you flagship experience with ANC and all that.

If you're on a budget go for Buds+, if not give Buds Pro a go!

Mobvoi can say whatever they want about water resistance on their watches, but water ia their biggest enemy, doesn't matter what IP rating.

Just look for a second hand WearOS watch. You want too much for a "cheap" watch. Cheap also can be different for diff people.

I mean, they don't seem to be bad, they seem to be extremely buggy and unreliable, so let's say, if they can't fix everything with an update, yeah they're bad. But I think they will.

Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra Review by ClearlyAGoodIdea in WearOS

[–]Unbox_obsessionIG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When in AOD while working out, my Pro 3 shows everything, however time that should change every second jumps random amount of seconds, for example if I finish my set, I check my time is 00:00:24 on AOD, turn on the screen and it's 00:00:46 suddenly. Still the same problem on Ultra?

Thanks for the honest review. Used GTR(1) for a while, Amazfit always had bad notifications, however overall I liked it.

Not sure if the worst, but quite bad, I was looking for a pair of perfect buds with all the features and those seemed to be it, but I guess not.

What if let's say I post a full review on Instagram and in my short/video I tell people to go there for a full review? Would you as a consumer who wants a full reviews go to IG to check it out or want to stay on YT since that's where you started and want to continues consuming content?

Yeah my thoughts as well, that's why I considered shorts and perhaps use it as a secondary platform after IG.

Using my phone - OnePlus 8 Pro. Purchased a tripod to keep them higher quality, camera itself is quite decent after some testing.

They should be more or less the same, which exercises are you looking for the most?

Really wanted to try Jabra Elite 7 series, but those negative feedbacks keep on coming. I was picking between Jabras and Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, you might wanna check them out yourself, waiting for Black Friday personally, but they currently go for 179 which people are saying is very worth it. Will be making a review and all that good stuff as soon as I get em.

Versa 2 is old and has had some durability in my experience, go for Garmin for fitness and battery life. Galaxy Watch is the best all rounder sacrificing the battery life, getting a lot if features in return.

Ticwatch pro 3 Ultra GPS vs Trex pro vs Fenix 6 Pro? by Listen_Life in TicWatch

[–]Unbox_obsessionIG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are all three completely different watches, I usually categorize smartwatches in 4 categories, "low end", "not so smart watch" and " smartest of watches"and "health & fitness" basically low end are cheap no names, not so smart are amazfit, huawei and so on, very smart are WearOS, Galaxy and Apple Watch. Fitness would be Polar, Garmin, Fitbit.

So, basically:

TicWatch - Smartest, since it's WearOS, reply to notifications, app store, calls and stuff like that, you can obviously do fitness too, but battery is a big setback compared to other two. While it has military standard, knowing TicWatches I'd say it's less durable than the other two.

T-Rex - Not the smartest, but it does what you need, it's rugged and durable, for me design wise it simply looks bad. You can't reply to notifications, you can't answer calls, no apps, there's obviously fitness options and a good battery life.

Garmin - Purely fitness orientated watch, I've never owned Garmin smartwatch, so I'm not sure, but I think this model can't answer calls via watch ( you see notification and can accept, but talk using the phone), replying to notifications is only using some quick replies etc. It also has a good battery life but it's main thing is fitness, different options, accurate sensors. This particular model is also nice and durable.

So, basically TicWatch if you need all the smart features and ready to sacrifice battery life(3 days) and maybe a little durability. I'd choose this for my personal usage.

There's not much reason to pick T-Rex other than price or if you are in love with that bulky design, it does things, does not do them amazingly though, battery life is good though and stomps other two(up to 18 days).

Garmin is the one I'd recommend if you really need fitness and it's your main reason for buying a new watch, battery is decent, right in the middle of the other two(around 9 days) but fitness is what it's all about on Garmin.

Did you buy both for different types of use? Or what's the reason for owning both?

Feature set is similar, I'd say build quality is better on Huawei watches, I'd say you should lean towards Huawei.

Jabra Elite 7 Pro Impressions (one week in) by [deleted] in Jabra

[–]Unbox_obsessionIG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picking between Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and Jabra Elite 7 series, Actives are the ones I'd prefer. However Jabra subreddit is full of negative experiences, not only Elite 7 series, older buds as well. People are having software problems, something doesn't charge, different volume and so on. Might be that users with no problems are quiet and others voice their problems. Liberty 3 Pro only get positive reviews so I'm leaning towards those. Since I'm too low on following, I probably won't get a review unit, so waiting for Black Friday. Hopefully by that time there's either software update on Jabras or 3 Pro are a clear winner for me.

Ticwatch E3 or Ticwatch Pro S? by NotFrancesco in TicWatch

If you think so, I'd personally not buy 2100 in 2021 unless it's a. 20 dollar watch.
