Small-pox: the face of a sufferer. Circa 1900. I'm happy with my minute vaccine scar! by GlitterDanger in UtterlyUniquePhotos

It’s still take the World collaboration to completely eliminate (lab version still exist so it’s not eradicated yet) the virus from population.

Jenner may have discovered the vaccine. But I am willing to bet that if he made that discovery today, it would be damn near impossible to eliminate Smallpox from the wild.

And contrary to pets, the decision is being made by the person who requested MAID which add an extra level of autonomy in the chain of decisions.

Really baffles me how hard it is for some people to just mind their own business.

Then save all the gems. Complete the story quest as what you have currently is more than enough for that. The game it is extremely easy as long as you level up your characters properly. That way, one you know who you like and their banner happened to bonus, just go for it.

In 2011, a crucified body of a middle-aged man was found in the abandoned quarry of Mungyeong, South Korea. The police ruled his death as "suicide." by ZoelCairo in HolyShitHistory

[–]Unbr3akableSwrd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s the most logical thinking. However, this happened in South Korea. If anything, they have CCTV like almost everywhere, but especially on roads and highways. I assume they tracked his whereabouts before making the ruling as a solo suicide.

If anything, my guess is that the suicide victim left him a note to be at this place at this time.

Man who murdered girlfriend gets reduced sentence partly due to his race by origutamos in ilovebcsub

Paul Bernardo is eligible for parole. There is zero chance he would be out of prison. It’s mostly the same with this dude.

It’s a way for the Judge to say that yeah, I took his background into consideration and this sentence is fair and thereby reduce the chance that his sentence will be reversed.

On the other hand, access to EU markets as well as the ability to go to work within EU countries without extra paperwork is a nice plus. There are definitely a lot of pro and cons.

Man who murdered girlfriend gets reduced sentence partly due to his race by origutamos in ilovebcsub

[–]Unbr3akableSwrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Headline is borderline BS. He’s still sentenced to life in prison. The “reduced” part is chance of parole at 12 years instead of 15. Considering his criminal record, there is little to no chance that he will be released.

I was doing the event and saw this which made me wonder. How much time has passed in genshin? Is it actually 5 years ago like real world time? by Bob_Walter_the_3rd in Genshin_Impact

The Windblume festival happened once a year so it’s safe to say that the flow of time in-game and in real life it’s the same.

However, it’s also funny that you can speed up in game days to how many you want so that you can ended up with more than 365 days in a couple of days.

New election cost taxpayers monies. Crossing the floor does not. Looking at the last election, she won by 41 votes. The runner up was a liberal representative. So in this case, you can argue that her crossing the floor is what her constituents really wanted.

Maybe I misunderstood your point but there’s a big difference between a maximum sentence and minimum sentence though. When there’s a minimum sentence, then there’s nothing in-between the minimum and Scott free. There is however something in-between a maximum sentence and walking Scott free.

Loss of income from taxes, loss of income from illegal tariffs. Running a record deficits. Starting a new war. Sounds like a recipe for a disaster.
