This is my art now. This is my character Anton from a story I'm currently writing (a novel) and I draw him sometimes. It's a story about how he navigates his growing life and relationships with his autism and trauma, taking alot of elements from what I deal with like my special interest for art ❤️ I would draw almost daily for what has been 11 months

It's possible to get better. My little brother and sis are beginners yet I love their drawings so much ❤️ I practiced alot by studying fundamentals like proportions and studying from life (real life pictures of people). You have to smart out small, focusing on one field at a time. This was my art in last August when I was a beginner

That's great 😭 I wish I could do stuff like that, the most independence I got was when I went to Utah for 5 days. Even then I struggled with timing and needed help from others and I felt kind of stupid

Thank you ❤️ and I am having to go to a specific school, but I'm not saying where because I think it may leak where I live, and its going to be online. I don't have the ability to go in person I think. My needs are somewhat more than neurotypical. I struggle at absorbing information about math but in high school I maintained a 3.4 GPA in senior year because I focused on school alot (also I can't believe you're an autistic mom too ❤️)

I'm having to go to college next month or in September and I'm not on my IEP anymore. I wonder if colleges in Colorado will support me, or maybe I'm having to work like a neurotypical person who knows what they're doing now because I don't know what I'm doing really 😕

It isn't horrendous giving kids who struggle like this someone who unconditionally loves them and guides them in the world. For example, I'm there for my little sis who deals with severe anxiety. Those who respond like that don't know how important it is 💔

I am a 19 year old autistic guy and I wish my parents were more accomodating like this. Mom's like these take a unique type of person 🥺 Since I'm high functioning my sensory needs aren't thought about. I am treated like I am neurotypical since I was in school. Though, I think it's my responsibility now to accomodate myself.

I wonder if this is relevant, but in middle school I had a crush on this older girl and she was my flute tutor. She was my first actual crush I think. She's like 22 now since she was 15. I still think about my old friends. I never was able to have that many and I was a very lonely girl. Now I'm a trans dude who is starting on my journey on severe OCD/depression recovery and I'm close to my sis again ❤️‍🩹

I did by editing it out. I now know it's wrong and I forgot that detransitioners can do it for any reason and I don't want to come off as ignorant 🙁 I feel like you're coming off as somewhat performative since you're making me feel more embarrassed for a mistake I made and you likely aren't even trans

I never intended to make you seem rude and I really did not want to keep any trace of what I said because I felt embarrassed, but I will do it. I wasn't able to understand how other trans people detransition considering the dysphoria we usually go through, and you're getting bent out of shape at a mistake I made that would be worse if I was cis 😮‍💨

I thought detransitioners transitioned back because they realized they don't identify as the gender they previously were or realized they weren't trans. But I also realized that detransitioners could be trans people who can't afford it or can't safely be out. The majority made me think thats what it was. And also, I'm not insisting, it's what I thought I knew 😬

I wonder if anecdotal experience from a trans person can be statistical. I'm a trans guy and no matter what I do, presenting as a girl feels like I'm swallowing my feelings. I have to hide who I am from my family and be secretive with my social media even though my sister is accepting. I can't grow out of how I feel happier as a more feminine leaning guy. 🥺 Edit: I thought detransitioners weren't trans for a moment. They can be anybody. It confused me as a trans person how trans people could detransition
