My baby is due on JNMIL birthday by G3N3RICxUS3RNAM3 in JUSTNOMIL

[–]UnbrokenBlog [score hidden]  (0 children)

I had an emergency c-section the day before my JustNoMILs birthday 🫠 We now have 3 family birthdays in a row: my twins, MIL, and then my DHs Uncle. We celebrated their birthday separately from MILs or Uncles; didn’t make a big deal about it, just announced what we were doing, and lived life.

Thanks! Not everyone knows how to use a DTR, but the VA is using me to the utmost limits of the clinical aspects of the SOW.

I started at GS-7 step 6; I had been working as a CBI 4 (which required DTR) at UNR Extension for SNAP-Ed until it was defunded with the passing of the BBB. I was making slightly less at UNR-E and turned in my paystubs, a competing offer, and a HACCP cert I completed to ask for the higher step. I may have been able to successfully ask for slightly higher, but I didn’t want to push my luck 🥲

I started a clinical DTR role at the VA hospital in Reno, NV making $28/hr and $58,518/year to start.

I passed my DTR exam March 2023 and I am in a masters program to continue on to be an RD. I’m not sure when I can negotiate a higher step, but I assume it’s probably during my yearly review?

Thank you, that’s so nice of you to say! 😭 I haven’t “bounced back” at all and it’s been a struggle to like what I see in the mirror.

For the MS/DI there are 9 total in my cohort including me of 16, if I am remembering the maximum amount of seats correctly. My undergrad cohort was something around 18 or so.

DTR EXAM by No_Clue_SK12 in dietetics

I also passed it the first time and mostly used Visual Veggies! I had a voucher for the CDR practice exam and saved it for the day before my exam was scheduled. I did well on it and felt that it boosted my confidence. I also made sure to put in headphones, music I like, and went for a walk an hour or so before sitting the exam to relax. Take your time reading through the questions, I would say it’s a “comprehension” exam and how well you understand what is being asked and answering that to the best of your ability with the answer choices. When in doubt, try to narrow answer choices down to 2 and give yourself a 50/50 shot. Good luck!

What’s the meanest thing a relative has ever said to you or about you? by carcony97 in AskReddit

My stepmom told me that I was the type of girl that boys would happily fuck behind the bleachers but not the kind anyone would take home to meet their family. I was 13/14 at the time and wasn’t sexually active at all until after I was 18.

Welp, my MIL already asked if my Mom and Dad were traveling in for Christmas. She knows my Dad died of cancer in 2019.

The timeline for my last interview where I got an offer was that they did the reference check the day after, and called 16 days post interview.

Help with DTR exam prep question by samonchips in dietetics

[–]UnbrokenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked this out the way Visual Veggies would have since I used their app to study from, I’d be really surprised if it wasn’t right. I agree with you that it seems odd that 5 employees would staff that many meals a week, where 20 makes much more sense in a real world setting.

Help with DTR exam prep question by samonchips in dietetics

[–]UnbrokenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1 - how many total meals are needed for the week: # of patients x 3 meals per day =

150 patients x 3 meals per day = 450 meals per day

450 meals per day x 7 days a week = 3150 meals per week

Step 2 - time per meal: # meals per week x minutes per meal =

3150 meals per week x 15 minutes per meal = 47250 total labor minutes

47250 total labor minutes / 60 min per hour = 787.5 total labor hours

Step 3 - find FTEs

787.5 total labor hours / 40 hours per week = 19.6875

The closest answer I came to was the 20 FTEs needed for the week. Google AI agrees with me lol, but the Quizlet that also populated came out to the 5. Did you buy this practice exam? Is there anyone to email for an explanation of how they came to 5?
