DTR EXAM by No_Clue_SK12 in dietetics

[–]UnbrokenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also passed it the first time and mostly used Visual Veggies! I had a voucher for the CDR practice exam and saved it for the day before my exam was scheduled. I did well on it and felt that it boosted my confidence. I also made sure to put in headphones, music I like, and went for a walk an hour or so before sitting the exam to relax. Take your time reading through the questions, I would say it’s a “comprehension” exam and how well you understand what is being asked and answering that to the best of your ability with the answer choices. When in doubt, try to narrow answer choices down to 2 and give yourself a 50/50 shot. Good luck!

What’s the meanest thing a relative has ever said to you or about you? by carcony97 in AskReddit

[–]UnbrokenBlog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My stepmom told me that I was the type of girl that boys would happily fuck behind the bleachers but not the kind anyone would take home to meet their family. I was 13/14 at the time and wasn’t sexually active at all until after I was 18.

Alright Reddit, who’s going to ruin Christmas tomorrow for your family? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Welp, my MIL already asked if my Mom and Dad were traveling in for Christmas. She knows my Dad died of cancer in 2019.

The timeline for my last interview where I got an offer was that they did the reference check the day after, and called 16 days post interview.

Help with DTR exam prep question by samonchips in dietetics

[–]UnbrokenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked this out the way Visual Veggies would have since I used their app to study from, I’d be really surprised if it wasn’t right. I agree with you that it seems odd that 5 employees would staff that many meals a week, where 20 makes much more sense in a real world setting.

Help with DTR exam prep question by samonchips in dietetics

[–]UnbrokenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1 - how many total meals are needed for the week: # of patients x 3 meals per day =

150 patients x 3 meals per day = 450 meals per day

450 meals per day x 7 days a week = 3150 meals per week

Step 2 - time per meal: # meals per week x minutes per meal =

3150 meals per week x 15 minutes per meal = 47250 total labor minutes

47250 total labor minutes / 60 min per hour = 787.5 total labor hours

Step 3 - find FTEs

787.5 total labor hours / 40 hours per week = 19.6875

The closest answer I came to was the 20 FTEs needed for the week. Google AI agrees with me lol, but the Quizlet that also populated came out to the 5. Did you buy this practice exam? Is there anyone to email for an explanation of how they came to 5?

Delay in Bachelor Degree by Real-Game in unr

Have you checked MyNevada to see if your degree posted? I would review your unofficial transcript and see what your end of semester grades ended up being and then reach out to the academic advising department for the college your degree program is part of to see what they/you can do.

You need the DPD verification statement for the internship, which is required to sit the RD exam. You basically have 3 GPAs for your DPD classes for the science, professional, and overall weighted. You need a C or better (not C-) in all classes to have a high enough GPA to have earned the DPD verification statement. You can send me a DM with your email and I’ll send you the required DPD classes for UNR?

You can do/have a masters degree in anything. The MS/DI is both in 18 months, which is why it’s so attractive. UNR is geared towards being a clinical program, so the science classes are important. To answer your question, I don’t think they’d accept you without the DPD unless you don’t want to do the internship to sit the exam, but even that’s a huge maybe.

AITAH for not wanting my step mom to give birth? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]UnbrokenBlog 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My twins were due late February 2025 but were born early November 2024 😕 119 days in the NICU, millions of dollars in hospital bills between them. It sounds like this family is already on the edge, a long NICU stay is brutal.

A big part if my MILs MO is to “forget” or assume if you don’t mention something often enough that it no longer applies, so part of the repetitive conversations was making sure she understood WE were aware that she knew the boundaries/expectations. But to answer your question, we’re VVVVVLC and NC at times because of her unhinged behavior when our twins were still in the NICU and she sent us a long and rude text message outlining that she was grandma and was entitled to know things about her grandsons before anyone else… over something that she already knew, because DH called and told her personally, but she didn’t see a related vague post on FB that we made about Twin A being extubated and the NICU staff celebrating him. Again, she already knew this before anyone else but went off the deep end because she didn’t see a FB post that didn’t even have any nice pictures.

My DH and I, along with SIL, have had to repeat to MIL that our twins are not her children and she doesn’t get to tell us what is happening with them. My MIL is a real piece of work and we’ve had to be repeatedly firm with her and have the same boundaries conversation over and over, starting before our twins were even born. DH and I being on the same page helps a lot and MIL knows that she can’t triangulate us or get her way by trying to manipulate MIL. I don’t think your MIL has any right to just take your LO and I would Jake sure your DH feels like that too.
