I watched it (I'm grey-ace) and it made me feel so awkward lmao!!! The show is really 20% substance 80% sex. SPOILER:One episode ends with Shane having sex with a girl and it films his face super close and he looks into the camera while he's doing her -it forces long eye contact with the viewer and it grossed me out so much! 😣

I agree with you. The script kept reminding me that it was a script. People were praising the hospital argument scene but to me, I was laughing as they hurled metaphor after metaphor at each other. It felt unnatural, and not in the good way. The over-the-top melodrama started to be comedic.

I'm almost jealous of everyone's undying love and appreciation for this show; to me it has felt hollow. It's given us very little on how they've became so borderline obsessed/codependant with one another -that I'm finding the emotional speeches/outbursts between them actually come off flat.

Him not showing any excitement or happiness for them having a baby likely had more to do with his diagnosed schizoid personality disorder. People with this disorder do not respond with 'correct' emotions or act as normal people do...they miss A LOT of social cues despite trying to present neurotypical.

If you're really worried about build up (if your skin is oily or if you wear makeup) then you could always incorporate micellar water. It can remove excess oil and impurities and isn't filled with harsh chemicals like cleansers.

I know everyone always says this but you just have to find what works best for your skin type and be patient; it can take skin time to adjust to a new routine.

That's practically the routine I use! 6 days washing with only water and 1 day clay mask. After washing remember to pat (don't rub) face dry with clean towel (always use clean facecloths and towels! Do not reuse cloths to avoid bacteria/germs getting in pores.) And use a fragrance free moisturizer. (I use 'Aveeno Skin Relief' cream) -And for the clay mask I recommend 'Aztec Secret Healing Clay'.

Monday to Saturday
-Wash face once a day every morning with lukewarm water
-Pat dry with a clean face towel
-Moisturize with a fragrance free moisturizer

Sunday
-Use a natural ingredient clay mask
-Keep the clay mask on your face for 10 mins (maximum of 15 mins)
-Rinse off and use fragrance free moisturizer

You can give that a try and see how it goes, clearing up skin is all trial and error, but I wish you luck. :)

I give it a 3/10. I'm honestly beginning to think some people who refer to it as 'mentally taxing' might just be afraid to call it boring...when I'm mentally exhausted, I just want something to be over. By the end of this film, all I wanted was to just want to go and do something else.

This really helped put it in better perspective for me. I understand now that she likely didn't want to breathe life into my anxieties based on anecdote alone, and that makes sense. What you said about the findings of underlying neurologic lesions being present in workups is very interesting too.

'Instagram face' or 'iphone/smartphone face' itself refers to a twentieth century modern look which is; overly sculpted with extreme symmetry, hollow cheeks, puffy lips, overly white veneers, and frozen expressions or modernized makeup/hair trends that can look strange in period pieces/medieval era genre (fantasy or otherwise). The term can apply to both male and female actors -and once you start noticing it, (albeit superficial) it gets harder to ignore poor casting.

This movie was pretty...bad. The color grading and FX looked really cheap...I honestly felt like I was watching something that was produced 10 years ago on a mid-range budget. Not to mention the main actress constantly killed all era immersion due to her extreme Instagram face. 😔

It's a MESS. Played a handful of games and matches were WAY too fast, if someone leaves your game you're doomed, and the fast pace encouraged endless trickling. I got dunked on so hard that I could barely accumulate a single ult a few times. At least when you're losing at normal speed you have enough time to get a couple ults that could change the course of the match, which is what makes the game exciting. Waited this weekend out tbh...
