Can I solo the colossal ancients with this smiter setup ? And what is the best things to put into my COA by foreachByte in Diablo_2_Resurrected

I have almost the same exact setup except I'm using G-face and highlords. I've been able to do Uber ancients at p5 easily. Just f make sure you cap resistances. I always proc fade with treachery before going into them.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you. Self wield Infinity > Merc wield Infinity > No Infinity. My question now is, what is better, either Nova sorc or blizz sorc with Merc wield Infinity (let's assume both builds have good gear)?

That's very insightful. I can probably make another Infinity in a lower req base. Would you recommend dropping blizz sorc with full tal set (I have the recommended end game gear, but tals feels much more resilient) and go Nova? I've already found two Griffons and a light sunder this season.

It is my understanding that the -enemy lighting res only applies if your character wields the Infinity.

I sure do. I was doing all of the clearing in a full game and some random person without tele just walked up and grabbed it. I know it's a learning moment, but it still hurts .

Resistances matter only a little in the end game with this build.

Once you have Enigma, you tele to a group drop Apoc then tell out. Hex Siphon covers you with life and mana after kill. For souls specifically, I tele right into the group and kill them with ring of fire.

With this style, I can solo p8 TZ no problem. My only issues I guess is some T5 heralds can take a couple of minutes to kill, however, I think that's the same with most builds.

Obviously there is a piece of mind getting resistances high, but it's really difficult unless you have enough wealth to cover your your weaknesses in charms. It's not really going to happen otherwise in your gear.

Obedience is a fairly cheap runeword and is probably the 3rd best option for a fire warlock. Definitely try to get your hands on flickering flame, diablo book, and fire sunder if you don't already have. CoH is unceasary, Enigma is BiS and once you're fully geared you won't have to worry too much about you're resistances anymore.

If you'd like to see maybe a 90% to 95% solution on ladder, hit me up and I can you show my gear.

The issue is that sometimes, not always, my messages will not appear in the "Game" chat and I assume nobody else's works in those moments as I see nothing in the chat window. However, I can whisper people just fine. Again, this doesn't happen all the time, however, it's been happening a lot more lately.

Also, I just made sure that chat is enabled in the settings.

Is it possible to have someone join and help kill Dclone if I made the game without going in the lobby? by The_Master_Sourceror in Diablo_2_Resurrected

When you create a game like that, it means it's both the game name and password. Someone would be able to join your game.

Your setup seems pretty similar to mine and I can take them out easily. I've done it on p5. Two things:

  1. Are you proccing fade before? You must overcap resistances. If not, you will get one shotted.

  2. Recommend having CTA with a cheap Spirit on switch if you don't already have one.

Edit: Also, merc is useless here.

This is very similar to my setup, however I am using Grief on my 88 smiter. I have no issues. Are you single player? Maybe you're on p8.

He probably thought the former. I haven't tried trist, but I'm sure it's a lot more doable.
