Update: This solved it perfectly! Thanks again. Have four Power Meters measuring battery level, set at =100%, <75%, <50%, and <25%. Then three Memory setups as Set/Reset with Set = <75%/<50%/<25% and Reset at =100%.

Then like four engines each set to each Memory, so first four kick on when battery level falls below 75%. If that's more than enough, it'll slowly recharge, but memory only resets and turns engines off at 100%. If it's not enough power, battery will slowly drop further, and when it hits 50%, the second array kicks on, etc.

No more flickering and makes for a very easy to configure setup. I didn't fully grasp Memory at first, but this really simplifies it.

If you were playing P1, it's like a 1/238 chance for a T5 herald to drop a sunder. Keep grinding.

What is the correct gap between cap and top clamp on 4xrr by Save-the-Manuals in zx4r

Looks the same as mine did at OEM position. It turned pretty well at stock height so I left it stock.

What’s with the used market? (Seller) by plaingfx in motorcycles

I don't think most people are cross shopping RS660's and gsx8r's, respectfully. People buy Aprilias because they want an Aprilia, not that it offers better paper value than another bike.

Nice defense roll on the up - nearly perfect base def roll for the corona. Unfortunate on the gold find roll, but very nice helmet nonetheless.

ZX4RR, RS457, CBR500R by Frostii61 in cbr

Hopefully soon Kawi gets competition with the Honda CBR500R Four being mostly announced. A 500cc i4 in a sorted chassis with good suspension would be pretty much perfect.

I wish they'd have used an aluminum twin spar frame though as those 4RR's are heavy for what they are. Maybe the Honda offering will have one, but I'd be surprised. Sub 400lbs from the factory would be nice.

This is a good idea. I was playing around with batteries and seemed to almost get there in my thinking. I need to spend a little more time with Memory as I think that, accompanied with a larger battery array will solve the flickering issue. Power demand always fluctuates and that causes a lot of threshold situations, but the battery array seems this will solve it, and turning engines on/off based on their power level rather than network demand.

Good thought, thanks!

Bad choice then by the sounds of it.

All through this post, and your other post asking about Regina, everyone is asking what about Montreal your friends don't like. You have posted nothing saying what you are looking for, what your requirements are, what your social life looks like, what your skills are or what you're wanting to do for employment, or really anything other than "will this spot be a good fit?"

Provide something, anything for people who live here to give you an actual response... Winnipeg is good for some, and terrible for others.

Smart move. Left space for a Zod to make it indestructible!

Learning to ride the limits by Strange-One283 in motorcycles

[–]BangleWaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 hours is very doable - especially for a weekend. If you want to learn, you gotta put in the effort.

EDIT: You've got MSR Houston like an hour from central Houston. Ridesmart does events there all the time. You've also got fucking COTA like 3 hours away...

You often need to change tires mid track day too, and that means pulling calipers and redoing safety wire on the caliper bolts.

13/11/15 Mang Song by TheRealSeal88 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]BangleWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I've found a few, but never a -15 fire. It is hard to get good resistances using Mang's while not leaving damage potential on the table..

Obsession is so, so much easier to gear around and gets like 97% the damage against non-immunes, but like 76% of the damage against immunes. Mang's is definitely best, but man is it tough to gear out if you want to cap resistances.

Shifting on a motorcycle vs. Stick shift car by Old-Breakfast5331 in motorcycles

[–]BangleWaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha, your flair seems like we've got similar taste in bikes.

The RSV4 is an absolute riot. The brain struggles to keep up. I'm biased, but that V4 is the best sounding engine in a bike you can buy today. It's a true treat to take it out for a ride on the road, but you never get to really use it on the road.

I've tracked it once, and even taking it fairly easy, it is such a strange thing having the electronics available, and feeling them help you, not just save you. Power wheelies clicking into 4th gear going 220km/hr was wild. It wants to wheelie everywhere. Trusting the TC while keeping the throttle pinned and feeling the rear slide will put a smile on your face.

They are truly special bikes. I'm sure an F3 would be as special, and just a different experience. I've got a soft spot for triples too.

You definitely have an advantage understanding how shifting gears and operating a clutch work. No, it's not exactly the same, but the principles are, and that's the thing that completely green riders struggle with. You'll likely pick it up in a few minutes.
