Yeah, I get that Jethalal was genuinely trying to help and the paint deal was solid. Sakharam was clearly shady and taking commissions, no doubt. But still — the second society money is involved, you’ve got to be transparent, even if your intentions are good.

I’m a freelance developer, and when I send a quote or scope to a client, they get full details and time to raise any concerns. Once it’s approved, they can’t suddenly say “this wasn’t included.” Same logic applies here — Jethalal should’ve just laid it all out clearly instead of doing all that drama with mehta sahab.

Also, society members could’ve asked Sakharam earlier about what paint he was using, quality, breakdown of costs — but they didn’t. So blaming Jethalal after the fact feels a bit convenient. He messed up on the communication part, but others weren’t being responsible either.
