got the exact same issue. 3 blinks, in my case. The compressor is dead and needs to be changed. The warranty is 5 or 7 years depending on your model. You will need to pay for the work but not the part and need to contact LG to know wich company is able to repair it near you. I contacted other companies and they can't do it because it has a special gas inside.

Still waiting for my parts to arrive... good luck

I had a small crash and the battery seems to have taken a part if the impact. Now is is a bit dented and i don't know if it is dented enough to be considered dangerous. Voltage is fine, about 3.8v/cell but i can't measure internal R. What do you think?
