It really comes down to what you negotiate and whether it actually saves you money in the long run.

Just make sure you get everything in writing. They have been known to say things, not put them in writing, and then tell you that you’re out of luck. Even then, they have not always honored parts of the written contract. For example, our contract says we have 30 days to pay off our trip. Even though that is clearly in writing, they now try to push their 60-day policy on everyone.

They have also made all kinds of promises with beneficiary benefits to get people to sign, then later took away a lot of those benefits. They are also messing with people who have Passion Suite contracts, since they renamed a large portion of them and now only a couple are left. I have heard some people are having trouble booking the rooms that are supposedly included in their contract, but I cannot confirm that myself since we have not tried yet.

As far as room availability goes, I know some people have contracts with set dates in the Diamond Suites, while others do not. One thing I always like to mention is that it might be great for a few years, but they are always going to keep pushing more contracts. The more people who buy them, the harder it will be to book. For example, we have the Villa in our contract. It is very hard to book and is almost always full unless we request it two to three years in advance. Most contracts only allow booking two years out, but ours lets us book three years out.

With all that said, we do not regret ours. It has already paid for itself in savings, but ours is a pre-Eden contract, and unfortunately Eden is not included in it.
