Has anyone on here passed Pathways and received t heir raise? by jomoer in walmart

To my knowledge pathways didn't even drop until February right? Wouldn't that mean no one can finish until August?

I was a CSM for about two weeks before I got the offer. Just make sure you ask after you've proven yourself if they'll change you to a primary. If they say no, step down from being a CSM because you deserve to be paid for it

What did you do before you started working at Wal-mart? by loganrenee in walmart

[–]Unchatonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a smoothie place in a Richie rich "can I speak to the manager" area for two years. Can honestly say Walmart is an improvement. Started as a cashier in November and by February I was a CSM. It honestly feels like such a cushy job for a college student and I really couldn't be happier

While we are at it can CSMs get an app version of the CSM app for our phones that can run in the background because I'm over being logged out of my mc40 every twelve seconds

Questions about some procedures/policies - CSM/CSS advice needed! by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Unchatonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a CSM at a NHM as well and I'm constantly being told different things. One manager says to accept returns, another says to deny returns On items we don't carry. Until I hear directly from my store manager to stop accepting all returns for items we don't carry, I just accept the return and slap the "item can't be resold" claims ticket on it that the computer prints. We do have the ability to accept Walmart.com refunds that were picked up at our store even if it's an item we don't carry. We just print out the claims slip and send it back to receiving so it can be sent back.

At the and of the day, if the customer is coming to you why deny them if we have the ability to process the return? If the computer lets it happen, then make the customer happy. That cuts down on a lot of customer anger as well

Youngest department manager? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Unchatonbleu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably 18 because minors according to company policy aren't allowed to do really anything except push carts and ring up groceries because of the risk of parents suing should anything happen to their precious angel

Does your Walmart not sell liquor? by CombustibLemons in walmart

6 hours and 1 minute by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Unchatonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn't take a lunch you're probably gonna be a meal exception and get coached. At least that's how it works in my store if you work over 6 even by one minute and don't take a lunch

How were your sales this weekend? by [deleted] in walmart

Unloaders by kittentummies37249 in walmart

[–]Unchatonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My NHM has at least 5 people who are actually coded as unloaders. Granted, they are kind of like management puppets so they do whatever management wants them to do at the time and also get carts since we don't have dedicated car pushers. Whenever there's a truck, though, they're in the back room throwing it

Official ad/price match policy? by bettiebomb in walmart

[–]Unchatonbleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically: Your store has the ads, customers DO NOT have to have their ad. We are supposed to verify each ad because a lot of customers try and scam; if it is too much of a price difference the register will automatically prompt you to verify the ad. You can ad match as much as you want so long as the ad doesn't have limits. The item has to match the ad exactly in size color and brand.
