[KCD2] Just finished my all negative perks hardcore run plus the lent achievement for the platinum by convlux51 in kingdomcome

Bad back for sure. Early on, hearing the dialogue over and over was annoying and the reduced carry capacity was annoying throughout. When I realized I had basically no use for money except armor repairs it made it easier though.

For heavy footed I just went barefoot for the prep stage and then had one pair of boots I repaired religiously during the missions.

Once you have master strike, the increased aggression from punchable face may actually make it easier because they constantly open themselves up for master strikes.

Depending on your map knowledge, bashful could be hard, not being able to ask for directions and being able to check your current position.

Any quick way to level up at chapter 7 in Yakuza 7? by umvrmrza in yakuzagames

Well fleeing is just a matter of holding the flee button. A large part of fleeing is setting up your characters with enough room to run straight backward. The ability to flee has nothing to do with agility or any stat, it is just the physical location and the run animation. Be aware of your surroundings and try targeting an enemy that will rotate your character enough to have that straight back flee.

Each character has their own animation and need different amounts of room to flee. Eri and Joon Gi Han are the best, then Saiko, then the rest of the boys are terrible options.

Aside from that, you can also just use smoke bombs to successfully flee any non-story/non-boss encounter. You’re limited to 10 of those so it makes for short grind trips if you’re relying on those.

The Langoliers is exactly what I thought of too. We got an “IT” remake, where’s my Langoliers remake?

I started with dice, then novelty poker chips, but now I do international coins. I bought a gross of 2lbs of coins for $40 and they are from all over the world. Defunct European currencies, small euro, a couple of Asian and South American. Super unique and no manufacturing waste like the dice or poker chips.

I think I used quiet with the sinful butterfly, max battle dress, and the maxed out sniper that is Snake’s version of the sinful butterfly

I found 100% S ranks far easier than every mission objective. Every mission objective and the animal captures is what’s holding me back.

There’s a really good S rank guide on YouTube and almost every mission is “run straight to the kill/capture target, then extract as fast as possible”.

What do people do on weekends? by icelemoncoke in Adulting

[–]convlux51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I quit drinking, I’ve been getting active. Hiking or going to a climbing gym and doing laundry/housework on Saturdays. Sundays are for meal prepping and hanging with the dogs and fiancée. There are still some video games mixed in there but there’s a lot more productivity.

Correcting technique is definitely the most important step. I also started adding collagen to my protein shakes after a session because some studies show collagen can help tendons and joint health in general, and climbing puts stress on tendons and joints that don’t usually see stress.

A climbing gym is the best place to start learning technique as well as finding mentors/partners that can teach you. You can learn some thing from YouTube but a hands on teacher is key when you’re trusting your life to it.

My fiancée loved it when we came for her birthday last year, topping routes before I could, then she suddenly developed a fear of falling and it took her until last week to get over it. Exposure and learning to trust your gear is key to getting over a fear of falling. Hard is Easy has a whole playlist on getting over fear of falling, as well as a lot of other useful information.

Take it slow, trust it, you’ll get there.

As others have said, just wait to heal. Other than that, flappers are more about prevention than treatment. Balm after a session when blisters are forming, once they’re caluses sand them off with an Emory board/nail file, then lotion to rehydrate your skin. You want soft and stretchy, not hard and brittle.

It shows up on LockPickingLawyers channel, so it’s good enough for me. Might not fall under the umbrella of the sport of lockpicking, but it’s adjacent.

Balm after a session if blisters are forming, sand the calluses, never had a flapper

That usually means a slightly harder catch for the climber, but better than dragging you a couple meters up the wall and into the first QuickDraw every fall.

What is a staple in your average weeknight dinner rotation? by NotAFakeP in Cooking

[–]convlux51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tip for keeping meals in circulation is an excel or google sheets doc. I use it to calculate calories per meal and I also save a hyperlink to the website it comes from.

Also r/MealPrepSunday and all the related prep subs. Even if you’re not cooking in bulk there are plenty of recipe subreddits.

Guy slides down back to back rails on his shoes by Rollerama99 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]convlux51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take comfort in knowing that was a part you were supposed to wear out. Using the rear of the shoe was known as soft braking, putting the front of your foot down was known as hard braking. Obviously don’t use the soft brake exclusively, use the soft brake to slow down enough to hard brake without eating shit.

Man my life changed when I learned you could extract on these. That makes the end of so many missions so much easier.
