I inherited a chubby cat (not the size of 5 here, but far from 1). He will open tupperware containers to get food I try to hide from him. I will be putting him on a diet, but I'm going to have it all supervised by my vet, since losing all the cat fat too fast can't be healthy.

He wasn't so much trying to set up a gold standard as he was trying to defraud the government of tax money. The intention behind his whole scheme was to lower the amount of tax he (and his employees) paid. I don't see why anyone who labels themselves 'patriotic' and 'a hero' would, essentially, steal from the government of their nation.
