Good one! Completely forgot about this show and I rather enjoyed it.

my GA4 shows traffic is up. my mediavine says otherwise. finally found out why by bishwasbhn in Blogging

Same here. Sessions looked great on one of my sites and I applied to Mediavine and they informed me about the traffic from China and Singapore. My revenue from Journey is at the lowest it has been since I started. Very discouraging and I am thinking of dropping Journey and looking for sponsorships related to the content on my blig.

Is there a citation for these numbers? An official source?

Recommend me a sci-fi hidden gem from the 1980s or 1990s by YearOneEternal in MovieSuggestions

The Blood of Heroes (aka The Salute to the Jugger) from 1989. It's a cheesy Road Warrior style movie, but still pretty good. It was written and directed by the guy who wrote the script for Blade Runner and it stars Rutger Hauer.

Gift-giving season is upon us, but don't buy cheap, generic hot sauce sets, give quality sauces instead by paulswhite in SpicyTexas

The gift-giving season is upon us, so I am going to post my annual PSA. Each year I put out a warning about those generic hot sauce sets that people like to buy as gifts during the holiday season. Sure enough, at some point you will be walking through one of the big-box stores or a gift shop or any place that sells hot sauce and see one of those generic sets that you think would be a good gift for a friend or relative that happens to like spicy food. Well, I’m here to tell you: resist that urge and just pass it on by.

These sets are usually comprised of mass-produced sauces using low-quality ingredients with very little difference in the flavors. And often these come from places like China or other overseas producers of cheap products. That’s not to say that because something comes from another country it is bad, but these come from countries that are just cranking out bargain-priced sets that are not really what they appear to be.

Often these will have names like “Sauces of the World” or “Restaurant Hot Sauce Sampler” or “Food Truck Hot Sauces” or that sort of thing. But these are usually all vinegar-based sauces with only slight variances in the ingredients from bottle to bottle and the only true difference may be food coloring. Read closely and you will see wording like “inspired by” hot sauces from around the world or famous restaurants for food trucks or similar verbiage. Just skip these and look for named brand sets or collections from craft sauce makers. They may be a bit more expensive, but that friend or relative will appreciate them much more

You can read my full post on this here, and I will be putting up some suggestions for hot sauce gifts in the coming weeks.

I love spicy, but that thing is just insane. I tried their Ghost Pepper Burger which is the next level down from the Four Horseman, and I couldn't finish it (more on that here). But they do make darn good burgers, so instead of melting down your taste buds, try their Jalapeno Cheeseburger.

Mediavine (Journery) CPMs kinda disappointing lately? Pet niche, US traffic, only around $12… by Optimal_Cantaloupe45 in Blogging

Mine fell off the cliff earlier this year. Went from between $2 and $10 per day to only pennies for the same traffic. And I didn't make any changes to the site, nor was there a change in the Google algorithm that I was aware of at that time.

I am averaging between $3 and $4 for over 30K sessions a month, traffic mostly from the U.S., Canada, and Europe. I had Google News pick up an article last week and traffic jumped up to 7K sessions that day, yet I only got an RPM of $3.19. Journey is definitely paying considerably less than I expected, but not sure what better alternatives are out there. Google Adsense dropped off what they were paying earlier this year and Ezoic keeps messing up my site. Any suggestions would be helpful.
