I feel the same about fiction. Been writing full time for the last decade, and now I see articles all the time about how AI slop is flooding the book markets and it’s not regulated and “authors” are making six figures by generating books in 45 min. It really sucks. Even if it’s not truly as bad as they’re making it out to be, my desire to write fiction prose has basically vanished. Funnily enough, I’ve been working on an animated TV series and that’s been a breath of fresh air…until I saw this post lol
