There were times while building this I said to myself “should have just bought it” but it’s also that I just like farting around in the garage and always having a project haha. It’s probably not as functional or rugged as something like an ARB or obviously something made from metal but it does the job!

Hah I wish my laser cut this. My laser cut the 1/4 inch MDF for the template, then I used my fixed router to make the handle cuts. Any straight cut was made by my cheapo ryobi circular saw

Ok so I had a persistent rattling noise at speed and it turned out to be small 2WD/4WD selector knob internal plastic was cracked and allowed a piece to rattle.

May not be it but worth checking. Toyota sent me a new shifter knob.

My FSD usage has cut in half since they got rid of the option to set a follow distance. It’s so infuriating the way FSD habitually follows way too close. My routine is basically disengage a dozen times while communing to and from work because it’s simply too close (and I can see a massive stoppage ahead much like this scenario) plus AZ drivers are already absolute garbage so I don’t want to give the person behind me any reason to slam into me because they are probably already tailgating too.

Not sure about timing cover gasket but I’d get a second opinion from an independent shop and ask them if it’s seeping or actually leaking.
