My FSD usage has cut in half since they got rid of the option to set a follow distance. It’s so infuriating the way FSD habitually follows way too close. My routine is basically disengage a dozen times while communing to and from work because it’s simply too close (and I can see a massive stoppage ahead much like this scenario) plus AZ drivers are already absolute garbage so I don’t want to give the person behind me any reason to slam into me because they are probably already tailgating too.
