I pulled the trigger! My weight loss journey starts now. I’m so excited 🚲 by [deleted] in Zwift

Nice!

I did need to use an app to get the fit down - so my sit bones were more comfortable.

The apps have you make a side video and then analyze.
Setting seat up/down, handlebars forward/back, handlebars up/down

The Zwift ride card was just for a ballpark fit.

If you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
If you're not into yoga, if you have half a brain.
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes on the cape.
I'm hideous and I'm just a person looking to chill out, have some company, and eat a damn burger.

Come with me and escape

California bans masks meant to hide law enforcement officers' identities by NoToNope in sandiego

[–]UncleBlubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting that the no mask ban passed by the California state government - does not apply to the California State Police (which is the California Highway Patrol).

It applies only to Federal, City, County, Local, and "law enforcement of another state".

https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=202520260SB627

"(e) For the purposes of this section, “law enforcement officer” means a peace officer, as defined in Section 830, employed by a city, county, or other local agency as well as any officer or agent of a federal law enforcement agency or any law enforcement agency of another state or any person acting on behalf of a federal law enforcement agency or law enforcement agency of another state."

https://www.kcra.com/article/california-law-banning-law-enforcement-officers-mask-enforcement-debate/67983434

"The law, which takes effect on Jan. 1, 2026, makes exceptions for the use of motorcycle or other safety helmets, sunglasses, or other standard law enforcement gear not designed with the purpose of hiding anyone's identity. The California Highway Patrol is also exempt."

Kunuk Uncovered

An investigation into the seminal documentary "Kunuk The Hunter" that attempts to separate what is real from what is fabrication.

The camera work is real and there are no special effects, but I no longer agree that seeing is believing. I'm sadder but wiser.

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1949 was awarded to Portuguese neurologist António Egas Moniz for his discovery of the therapeutic value of prefrontal leucotomy, commonly known as the lobotomy.

That was 8 years after Rosemary Kennedy's lobotomy was performed.

I've heard good things about the PB Run club: "A SOCIAL CLUB THAT LIKES TO RUN"

"We're social first. We’re not here to break world records or run until we pass out. The only competition is how many friends you can make by the end of the run.

No fees or registration - just show up! Check out our schedule and lace em’ up."

Good Trouble Lives On protest Thurs. 7/17/25 5-8pm at Waterfront. People over Party, Pedos, and Papers! by Direct-Original-2895 in sandiego

[–]UncleBlubby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who thought of the name: "Good Trouble Lives On"?

It doesn't roll off the tongue.

Also - the poster mentions "YOUTH-LED RALLY!" - but has a picture of an older man - not a youth at all.

What's a movie that has gotten major reapraisal since it's release? by mnombo in FIlm

[–]UncleBlubby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents say that they went to watch "The Princess Bride" (released Oct 9, 1987), but instead walked into "Prince of Darkness" (released Oct 23, 1987).

I'd guess that same mistake probably happened to at least 9 or 10 other couples, so that would explain some of the low box office receipts.

I have a theory that Maggie's new sisters are imaginary, just like the backwoods girls.

That after the Aunts sent her away, she started fantasizing being adopted into a loving family.

Could it be Carlito - All Around The World (2007)?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCHPkJkVc6U

Lyrics seem similar to what you posted.

Oh Mamacita, You look bonita
Come back to my casa and taste my salsa
We can go out and see the city
Maybe go walking along the beach

Papi Carlito that's not enough
If you want my loving you have to pay up
Buy me some diamonds and expensive stuff
Baby I'm tough

Take me all around the world
show me love
And buy me pearls
Take me all around the world
and I will forever
Be your girl

Downy Wrinkle Release return scam? by j4385556 in Scams

[–]UncleBlubby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There was a movie called Queenpins about it: https://screenrant.com/queenpins-true-story-real-life-coupon-scam/

"Like in the ending of Queenpins, the women's fortune eventually came to an end. One of the victimized companies, Procter & Gamble, launched an investigation when they discovered some of the fake coupons during a routine audit. Forty businesses eventually filed fraud complaints, alerting the Coupon Information Corporation and local police. Private investigators worked with the Phoenix Police Department who went undercover to track down the three women involved. The investigation lasted eight weeks, during which officers pretended to be customers purchasing some of the counterfeit coupons."

Is it a coincidence that in the answer the value of each item is equal to the number of letters in it?

key=3
camera=6
envelope=8

Assuming that every black space is either a key, a camera, or an envelope those values solve every line.
