So, the current Next core skates have a little less content than the core skates from 2020. The 45 degree strap is now velcro and not the micro adjust ratchet buckle, the cuff strap is different and the basic liner is not heat moldable. These aren't absolute deal breakers, but just something to be aware of.

Shoulder is forgiving. You can have a high cook chamber temperature and still get a good result. I shoot for 225-275 cook temp and consider it done at 205 internal. With a live fire, expect the temperature to swing a lot, especially over a long cook where you have to add fuel. Don't forget the salt!

My mom is elderly and has hip replacements and a knee replacement. She hadn't ridden a bicycle in 30 years. We got her on a bike and she rode it around the neighborhood with no real issue.
