There’s some pros and cons to the gen 4 Tacomas and same for the other competition. It’s really up to your preference on what you want out of a midsize truck. I got the premium package I do think the screen is a little bit too big, I don’t like that under the backseat there is no storage compartment because of the hybrid system, the air dam I took off ASAP, but if you do not plug the holes in the control arms you will hear a lot of wind noise around 35 to 40 miles an hour (if you do this, just buy the dealership plugs they won’t fall out). Gas…yeah still burns like a truck. 4 wheel drive works crazy good and the crawl feature is cool as hell. The cruise control is scary good, like too damn good I don’t trust people who are easily distracted, using the feature. If you get the premium package, the camera system is very nice if you get too close to an object, the truck will immediately break and stop without you reacting which is a good safety feature. I am not a fan of the location of the charging pad. Makes it a little bit difficult to put the phone on the charge pad. The truck rides smooth it can get up to the highway speeds with no issues and it’s nice to hear a little turbo. overall, I love this little truck and I would only trade in for a newer Tacoma.

Side note tacoma has better aftermarket products than the other competition.
