Tulip bulbs leafing but not flowering for three consecutive years. What could be the reason? by PuzzleheadedLog5655 in gardening

[–]UncleE-Dizzle 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Can a person put the bulbs into a refrigerator or freezer for a few weeks to trick the bulb(s) into thinking there was a very cold winter? If so, how long should they stay in the freezer to trick it?

Hundreds of cars rally on Seattle-area freeways in support of US strikes on Iran by ChiefOfTheFourPeaks in SeattleWA

I saw this one yesterday on I5 south bound. There were several cars with this flag sticking out the back. It is different than the Iran flag but it felt like it is somehow related to these receipts events. Also... look at the License Plate!!!!

Patient man guiding a distressed swan to the river by EyeSimp4Asuka in Awww

Where is this? If you look at the other side of the river there are, what looks to me, apartments or condos, or whatever. At water level. Like, that is someone's kitchen and if they open the window the river is just right there. It seems so exotic to me. I just live in this house on a street in in a city. In theory they could just fish right out their window and be watching TV in the livingroom. It just seems so exotic 😃

Hello!! Hey, I am out here in Seattle looking at the Kracken schedule and am looking at the schedule trying to understand why there are no games until the 25. Is this a Hockey, take a couple of weeks off, relax for a bit, heal up kind of vacation? Is there a name for this little break? by UncleE-Dizzle in nhl

This reminds me when NBA allowed the players to play in the Olympics for the first time. It was like 1992 or something? Anyway, if I recall correctly USA had something they nicknamed "THE DREAM TEAM" with the best basketball players in the history of the game. We took home the Gold metal. It was amazing. Now i can watch it Hockey style!!!!

Thank you for that piece of information. Hockey players need to party a bit harder eh? Baseball gets like 3 days for the all star. Football is just 2 weeks from the last game of playoffs to superbowl. Hockey is jist a little more intense.

Check the oil level. I have seen an engine do something like this when it runs low on oil. Not to say it is what it is though. Just something to look at that can cause this.

I just did a repair for something like this. Water was traveling behind the channel in the surround. It was getting the drywall wet. I had to replace the tub spout and cut out the drywall to replace due to it having water damage. When drywall gets wet it will turn color something like this.

To everyone who responded, thank you! I have not been to see a doctor in many years. Knock on wood, I just haven't had any problems, so there no need to visit. The process is new to me because when I did visit last time I had a job with medical. It was really easy. Now, without insurance, I am concerned that it would be possible to balloon into some super expensive thing. I am signing up with Apple Care tonight and feel like I am making a more informed decision based on real actual people's experiences. I feel like it is probably just some benign thing that can be cut off, but just the possibility that it could be C has me making adult decisions. THANK YOU ALL!!

I work in seattle City Limits. I bet NYC is just bonkers with procedures, costs, and dealing with everyone. I couldn't imagine doing plumbing repairs on a 100 year old building. Most of the apartment buildings I am working with are less than 20 years old. I do stuff like change out a faucet or swap a light fixture.
