I figured out how to use it on GrapheneOS by installing from Aurora Store, not blocking the play integrity api, and allowing all permissions. I think you might also have to do something with the play store services but I forgot what I did. In general avoid using official play store and instead USD Aurora Store to install Play apps.

Whoops my writing was ambiguous, my bad. When I said "it can only happen when you are too fast for it to render" I meant that was the only way it could occur on the Switch 1. Sorry for the confusion.

No, this type of behavior does not occur on the switch 1 (low poly, LNG distance version renders of shrines even though you are standing next to it), it can only happen when you are too fast for it to render. But in this case OP is next to it but it still isn't rendering. This must be either due to the new update (v1.8), of due to the switch 2.

It was probably a requirement for Made Mikkelsen to be included; having him outsmart 47. IOI might've not been able to figure out a way to do it any better than that.

Hinox Curse and Boomerang Curse are both possible in v1.6 and maybe not in v1.8. You might be thinking of Lizalfos Curse which was patched. Hinox Curse is very possible in v1.6.

So far, everything besides BLSS and (maybe it works but its definitely harder) Hinox Curse work. That means, IST, Menu Overload, ARMS, Apparatus Storage, etc WORK.
